Review on Proxicast 10dBi LTE High Gain Omni-Directional Outdoor Antenna - Verizon, AT&T, Sprint Compatible by Shawn Welker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You'll need more than these antennas to really get faster with the MOFI 4500

They were sold with a MOFI receiver/router for AT&T tower reception. I bought two of these plus the recommended weatherproof/sealed cables which are well made. The workmanship and weather sealing look good, the mounting material is also very good and I covered the connection area with a weatherproof silicone sleeve. Speaking to an RF expert I was told that such a long line would exhibit attenuation so I went back and bought the same 3 foot weatherproof cables. I substituted omnidirectional lobe antennas which worked fine. but i wanted more. Proxicast 10 dBi "High Gain" antennas showed no performance improvement over MOFI UWB RANGE1 antennas. Bles, I was told I would also need to add signal boosters which cost over $299.00 each. Before you think like me that all you have to do is buy this antenna and cable and connect it to your MOFI router. It's a bigger investment than I originally thought, and the performance gain is negligible. I just returned to the oars.
