Review on ๐Ÿ”Š Enhance Your Audio Experience with Creative Labs Sound BlasterX G1, 70SB171000000 by Tawan Rungthip แ Œ

Upset and disappointed, the product is very bad!

The card was purchased for use on iMac 27 (2022) in order to switch hardware to headphones, and back to the built-in speakers, while not constantly forcing the headphone jack into the "minijack" inlet, and of course the main goal is to pump the sound a little for unleashing the full potential of headphones. The headset does an excellent job with the first goal, but so far the absence of the "BlasterX Acoustic Engine Pro" utility for macOS is the highest degree of stupidity and disregard for the brand's fans. Without this utility, "Sound BlasterX G1" is just an ordinary piece of plastic, but with the ability to play sound a little better than the built-in one. I also want to note the barely audible background noise (a slight hiss) from the shortcomings, and by the way, on windows it is many times stronger, even at the lowest resistance. For Windows, the card works out for all 5 stars!, but I take off one for โ€œbackground noiseโ€. But it was not purchased for this software and purposes, so 2 stars for the โ€œraw productโ€.

Pros
  • - Great sound when using "BlasterX Acoustic Engine Pro" on Windows (via Boot Camp)! - Compact. - Works on macOS without drivers and settings. No glitches were noticed during the work, but there is one super hellish BUT (see below).
Cons
  • - macOS owners should understand that at the moment it is missing (and even the support service itself does not know) a very important utility "BlasterX Acoustic Engine Pro" for the full potential of a sound card. Many faced such a โ€œsurpriseโ€. - Weak background noise during playback. On macOS, it is much lower.
