Review on Proxicast 10dBi LTE High Gain Omni-Directional Outdoor Antenna - Verizon, AT&T, Sprint Compatible by Brock Chisholm

Revainrating 3 out of 5

You'll need more than these antennas to really improve your speed with the MOFI 4500

These were sold with the MOFI receiver/router for AT&T tower reception. I bought two of these plus the recommended weatherproof/sealed cables which are well made. recommended a cable, and after speaking to an RF expert I was told there would be attenuation with such a long line, so I went back and bought the same 3 foot weatherproof cables. I replaced the omnidirectional manipulator. Antennas that worked well but I wanted more. Proxicast 10 dBi high power antennas showed no performance improvement over MOFI UWB RANGE1 antennas. Then, having already spent the money on these antennas, after purchasing the all-weather cables, I was told that I would also need to add signal boosters, which cost over $299 each. Before you think like me, all you have to do is buy and add this antenna and cable. to your MOFI router. It's a bigger investment than I originally thought, and the performance gain is negligible. I just returned to the oars.
