Review on 📶 Phonetone 7/9dBi Outdoor Directional Yagi GSM Antenna 698-960/1710-2700MHz with N Female Connector by Justin Reese

Antenna purchased for use on high bands 700-800MHz on digital trunked scanners. My local system has 4 simulcast nodes, two of which could be received with the rear of the unit mapped to the 800MHz omnidirectional antenna, albeit slightly. With this Yagi installed at any location, I measured about 9dB of gain over the 800MHz omnidirectional, and more importantly, the noise floor was reduced by over 10dB. As any good ammeter will tell you, signal-to-noise ratio is the real game when it comes to picking up boundary signals. The build quality seems satisfactory, although I don't have to mount it outdoors. If you are having trouble receiving in the 800MHz band due to multipath or weak signal, I would highly recommend this product, especially considering the low price.
