However, this is a great product.

I was looking for a wired router to replace my somewhat shabby one. While the product appears to be great and fast, there is little to no documentation that comes with the product and what is available on the manufacturer's website is often difficult to decipher as it was originally written in a different language . Although I'm fairly tech savvy I've never been able to set this thing up to troubleshoot a port or firewall issue and I've eventually given up and will get something else. Finally…

Amazing stable router

Excellent router. I bought this because I was tired of going to the garage to turn off my old WiFi router. It used to freeze and overheat. Not with that, it has been working stably for 2 years. Very stable, no connection loss or freezes. I've connected this to a couple of Unifi hotspots and my wifi is working great. All of my devices get an excellent Wi-Fi signal and stay connected until I exit the driveway. It worked so well that I bought another resume for my partner's house. He was always on

  • Very good price

  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Brilliant! Routers in network products

Great thing! In addition, the price is unbeatable! I only recommend it for users with technical experience as it takes some time to learn how to set it up, but it has a lot of features and is really powerful. There are many online guides to help you get started. The only complaint is the OpenVPN client support. The current software version supports neither SHA2 nor UDP for the OpenVPN client. This is becoming more of an issue as most VPN services (if you use them) have switched to SHA2…

More than I expected

Bought for home network. As I work in IT and have spent half my life in a server room, my first thought when I opened the box was; Well, isn't that cute - it's really easy. I plugged it in and was impressed with the web interface and the number of options available - from VLAN to Firewall. The user interface has three views: a simple view, an administrator view, and a command line interface (CLI) for those who prefer to write rules by hand. It has an LED panel on the front panel that can be…

BMD ATEM Router for Computers and Accessories

We ordered a MikroTik RB2011 router, Revain sent us a MikroTik RB3011 router instead. About 2 x 4. Thank you! And also. Works fine for what we need. Responsive. We needed a rackmount router for our Blackmagic Design gear - ATEM 4K video switchers, HyperDeck, Teranex AV and other IP gear etc. The price was right. It was cheaper than building a PC and downloading pfsense. We don't need a pfsense router. Space is limited. This solution meets our space requirements. 1U - MikroTok RB3011 router plus

Not for hobbyists: Computers and accessories

Mine didn't work with my network right away. Some setup is required, and this requires some knowledge of networking and, to some extent, Linux. Although I had a hard time getting my computer to work at first, everything went smoothly. MicroTik routers are like Swiss Army knives because you can make them do anything you want with the know-how. I'd skip that and go for one of their cheaper options or something from another brand that's a lot easier to get comfortable with. If you have the…

Worked PERFECTLY Out of the box

I had a Netgear house, wired router. I bought it with caveats: all the reviews said it had a steep learning curve. I laughed in surprise as I pocketed it. A few R2D2 beeps and it worked - much faster than Netgear's startup and boot diagnostics. Right out of the box, this kid instantly connected, booted, and deployed a pre-installed routing and firewall service to my home. I began to trust Netgear: a good half hour of reboots, power offs, wishes, dancing around the keyboard. MikroTik joined and…
