Unreliable, unreliable, nice POS.

Disappointing product experience is what comes to mind as I write this review. I really wanted to like this product as most users' reviews are excellent. But to me, this product was nothing more than an unreliable Wi-Fi connection. I have a 2 year old D-Link AC3200 and this router has performed extremely well. However, due to the location of my router, there are certain dead zones in my house. I bought this extender hoping to reduce WiFi dead zones. I randomly get a persistent "no internet connection" status on multiple devices as we browse different websites and do different things. The extender also slows down the WiFi speed of my AC3200. When I turn on this device after a power outage, it affects the D-Link router and causes connectivity issues. There may be a compatibility issue between this NETGEAR extender and the D-Link AC3200, but I don't have the resources or time to experiment with the NETGEAR Nighthawk router to figure it out. I need a product that just works effortlessly (enough worries in my life to debug a network router extender problem). Good luck with your purchase.
