I use these needles for knitting hats in the round. I am very happy with the quality of these needles. The only downside I noticed is that some fibers don't slide well over the wider tube. They are well made, very smooth and to be honest I'm surprised you can buy a needle of this quality at this price.]

You get what you pay for. One of them has what I can only describe as the beginning of a giant piece of driftwood that has already snapped off in one place and is only a matter of time and use before it almost completely breaks in half. The plastic hinge on my 10mm came loose and didn't stay, I'll try to glue it back on before I give up entirely.

When you put your knitwear onto a needle, the plastic tubing connecting the two needles comes loose. This was because the plastic wire was soldered to the OUTSIDE of the needle. They just fell apart which caused me to lose my knitting! I bought a pair from Walmart and the plastic wire is glued into the inside of the needle so it WILL NOT come loose when you put your knit on it.

Sometimes I need 16" circular knitting needles that I don't already have. When I saw them I decided that at such a low price it was worth the risk. Now I have different sizes and no longer have to run to the store to find the right size.I have used several sizes and find them satisfactory.The needle-to-tube connection on the smaller sizes is a bit tricky to work around if you knit too tight.

It's great to have more than one project on hand. I like to play with different sizes without having to pay $20.00 for a needle to figure out what size is best for a particular project. I took a chance on buying these needles because they had a decent amount of verified positive reviews and the cheap needles I bought turned out to be surprisingly good. For the price I didn't expect perfection and my expectations were met. The quality varies greatly between the needles in the set.
