Direct replacement for the broken plastic handle on my 2021 Rooms to Go couch. I was able to use the original cable, so the one that came with the new handle will be available as a spare. This handle is STOUT, I have no doubts that this will be the only time I have to replace this handle. I ordered 3 more to replace my other ones BEFORE the cheap plastic fails in them, too.

Replacement cable and lever was easy to install. Tipping the entire double seat unit forward took two people so as to not cause damage. Had to cut a slit in the fabric under the chair and then simply threaded the cable through the original route and attached the end. Then reincerted the two screws holding the lever to the side of chair to complete the repair. Works like new again!

Great product. A little longer in size than our original plastic recliner pulls, so we had to cut a slightly longer opening. But stronger being metal and our recliners are 90% easier to open now.

The hardest part is getting the cord out of the trigger area. I recommend watching a video. It's one plastic piece that squeezes out hard! It works and it's super easy! Ty

All metal replacement for the junk plastic version that was original to my 2-year-old recliner sofa. The cable is heavier, and it was the exact length.

The cable on my Flexsteel recliner part broke. I ordered two different brand handles with cable parts because all the sellers say that variations in the exposed cable length are critical to getting the right cable. I did not find that to be the case BUT the one from another vendor I got ( which is the one I tried first of course ) seemed like it would work but I could not push the plastic retainer slip piece through the opening. It fits almost perfectly A C Pacific Felix 7023 recliner leg's pull-up cable. I tried several times to get the factory cable, but they have yet to answer.

My plastic handle on my couch broke so I purchased this metal one and I am glad I did. I used the same cable that was already installed and just replaced the handle. It installed in the same hole very easy and is much more durable than the plastic part that was there.

The cable that I purchased is actually better then the original one and is a lot more sturdy . Replaced on a Art van chair that the cable had broke. Make sure you remove the old one and get the correct length. I replace the cable and handle. Kept the old plastic handle just in case.

This fit perfectly into our couch we bought from American Furniture Warehouse a long time ago. It also is better than the original. The original was a plastic latch that broke. This one was metal, sturdy and smooth.If the other original latch breaks, I'm buying this as a replacement again for sure!

Make sure to order to one with cable. I was tired and didn't. The return process was very easy. Once I received the handles with the cables, it took maybe 10 minutes at most to install

During a long Christmas vacation, the cable in my recliner decided to expire. I waited a few extra days after I ordered because of weather interrupting the US. But this fit EXACTLY as the old one! Took me less than 10 minutes to switch this out. This is better than having to guy purchase another recliner. I'm sure glad I was able to find this.

The OEM part was plastic and had broken. This replacement is metal and seems very sturdy! I’m very pleased with how sturdy it feels. Just installed it yesterday so I can’t comment on how long it will last, but I’m impressed with the initial quality and ease of installation.

It took exactly 5 minutes to install this release handle. Fits perfect and is also upgraded from original item. It has a spring that the original didn’t have which should take some stress of the cable. You won’t be disappointed if you buy this replacement item.

Ordered another brand for our Bob's Warehouse recliner. The push in head turned out to be too thick a plastic so, ordered this one and the head slotted straight in. We now have a working recliner again. Donated the other one.

I liked that it was partially assembled with the cable attached to the handle and it worked as described to repair my chair. I disliked that the instructions were not clear on how to attach the cable end to the chair release mechanism. I had to watch a U Tube video from the UK on the proper method. If anyone wants to know how to install it in a Bassett chair, let me know.
