Description of Sharpening Whetstone Whetstone Sharpening TOCYHF

The whetstone is a natural whetstone, whetstone grit:5000,whetstone size: 7.9"x2"x1",whetstone weight: 1.8 pounds. You don't have to spend enough time to soak the grindstone in water before sharpening, you can use it after washing it with water, which is very convenient. Since it is a natural whetstone, it is soft and absorbs water well, and the sharpening juice containing the abrasive grains that have fallen off or crushed comes out well, so you can sharpen it quickly. A medium whetstone for restaurants, homes, woodworking, crafts, and gardening. Please note: Not suitable for ceramic knives. The compact size makes it an ideal choice for narrow kitchen spaces.

Unsatisfactory Quality, Avoid Buying

based on our own experience this whetstone does not live up to expectations. The grit is not consistent, and it takes forever to sharpen anything. The color wears off quickly, leaving you unsure of what grit you're even using..

Pros
  • N/A
Cons
  • Unreliable grit, wears out quickly.

Fur. Good, but with some drawbacks.

I'm a scout leader and driving instructor, so I often sharpen knives. I also prefer natural stones over composite silicate stones. This one is good, but the quality control of the casting leaves a lot to be desired. First it is roughly trimmed on the bottom and sides, leaving only one surface to sharpen. When I ordered it, I couldn't read the last line of the description, which says the underside is left rough, so "non-slip". I call it BS and like to think it's more of a cost-saving measure on…

Pros
  • Whetstones
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging
