Not the best quality, but generally not bad.

They say that this is a good lens for landscapes, but they say that the slight increase in viewing angle compared to 16mm is meaningless while photographing whales. At the moment, I can envision its application for the aim of photographing subjects inside in order to obtain a picture free from ripples and mosquito sounds.

Pros
  • - If you use an aperture of F2, you may photograph at an ISO of up to 1000, but for a whale ranging from 16-50 I needed an ISO of 2022 or more. - The sharpness is already satisfactory at F2
Cons
  • - if the sharpness at F11 is still acceptable, then at F13.5 it is already considerably worse, and then the picture is generally murky - there is ED glass in the scheme, but the chromaticity is not less than that of a cheap whale 16-50, if not more - very significant distortion. - if the sharpness at F11 is still acceptable, then at F13.5 it is already much worse. Despite the fact that it is a 12mm lens (nearly fish), when recording handheld and using matrix stabilization, the picture in the video occasionally appears to "dive" to the sides, which, in my opinion, looks awful. - price. despite the fact that $200 is significantly less than the typical cost of native optics. It would be wasteful of my money for me to spend $200 on a game that I would then be dissatisfied with and put away. By the way, the price of this lens is significantly lower on the secondary market than it is on the market for brand new lenses due to the significant decrease in demand.

Different pros: Wide-angle lens with a low price that covers more than 100 degrees on a full frame and 94 degrees on crop matrix. Aperture control is supported by the "PENTAX K70"; the index "A" can be found on the aperture ring. In manual mode, when the sharpness is established, the matrix will give the necessary signal. The most important thing to do is to make sure that the lens is focused exactly where you want it to be, and at the same time, turn the ring slowly so that you do not miss the

I've been considering this lens for a while and decided to buy it especially for a vacation to Italy. Beautiful glass, both for building and landscape photography (if you hold the object in the middle, there is almost no distortion). The lens is rather light, which makes it a valuable traveling companion. I don't think the inadequacies are caused by the absence of autofocus, tk. With this focal length, you don't have to worry about focusing too much; just set it to infinity and shoot…

Pros
  • Wide-angle, low-cost, light and portable, aperture ratio, and lens hood included. Sharp images.
Cons
  • There is a metal strip that extends from the mount and stands out against the background of the entire lens, roughly 0.7 cm long. It is unclear why it was unable to paint the complete lens.

The perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

3.5 years I've had this lens. Compatible with the Fujifilm X-E1 camera. The focus ring on this lens has a silky, slightly stiff "manual" rotation, indicating that it has been expertly manufactured. There is no lag or any issues with the metal mount. The lens has a plastic body. Unlike the hood on the standard 16–50, this one is mounted securely, stays put, and imparts a sense of dependability. When on the road, this was the primary lens of choice. This is a must-have for landscape and…

Pros
  • This lens was created for use with mirrorless cameras. The size, quality, style, and craftsmanship of the hood all impressed me. High resolution between F2 and F8. Good retention of backlighting. There was no skewing of shapes.
Cons
  • My copy has a problem with apertures of F11 and above. Sharpness and contrast in the image degrade.

Very content. Small focusing mistakes are excused by the extremely wide angle, so in use, the lack of autofocus isn't too bad. This may provide some challenges for long-focus light lenses. The picture is satisfactory mechanically. The external plastic and markings give off the impression of being quite cheap. But you won't need to worry if you're purchasing a lens for photography.

Pros
  • Exceptional detail, a small, bright, and practical lens
Cons
  • not using autofocus. That is not a drawback. Simply keep this in mind when making a purchase.

Sharp and versatile lens for Fujifilm

This lens is a game-changer for my photography. It's wide enough for landscapes and architectural shots, but it also excels in close-up work. Using this product, our team found that the image quality is outstanding, and it's easy to control the aperture with the ring. The lens is light and portable, and the focus is smooth and fast. The only downside we've found is that it's not ideal for low light situations. Overall, we highly recommend this lens to anyone looking to elevate their photography

Pros
  • Sharp image quality, versatile
Cons
  • not ideal for low light.

Not bad, but too many flaws

Others write about the various flaws of this lens. My biggest complaint was the really awful chromatic aberration on any bright subject. Sometimes this was too much to fix well in ON1. The color reproduction didn't appeal to me either (photo taken on Fuji). It was difficult to match with my Fuji lenses and even the correction was fine. The field of view was almost too wide for all but a few types of landscape shots (14mm seems wide enough). I'm probably just saving my money to get a Fuji…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some small things

Good lens at a reasonable price

This is the 12mm manual lens I use on the FujiFilm X-E3. This is a very wide-angle lens that allows you to capture many objects at once. Yes, it's not the sharpest around the edges, but for the price, it's a great lens for hobbyists like me. The FujiFilm 18mm costs $900, so it was an easy choice for me. I am very happy with this lens. Build quality is good and the lens feels solid. The aperture ring has a slight click, not the smoothest, but not bad either. You don't have to worry about…

Pros
  • Solid build
Cons
  • Not as good as it says it is
