Very Useful: Science Kits and Toys

This product is perfect for me. I have a sailboat doll. Very satisfied. It was easy to wash before use. This is a plus. I will recommend it.

Tall enough for a potted plant

I love it when people get excited when a caterpillar turns into a butterfly. I have 4 of these that I am borrowing along with a potted milkweed plant and a caterpillar. Perfect size for it!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Empty

Not suitable for raising butterflies

After the caterpillar enters its pupa, the caterpillar's silk button does not hold and the pupa falls. I'm in the monarch butterfly group and a lot of people are having the same problem.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Some small things

Perfect for keeping caterpillars out of my garden!

Used for caterpillar sailing boats from my shipyard. The case is easy to install and roomy. I'm also a teacher and see this as the perfect addition to this setup. Love the see-through window and easy zipper controls.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
  • Quality

Monarchs for a few days: training and education

Great pop-up net for growing butterflies. I have successfully bred over 50 monarch butterflies using this network. It easily fits in a small 6 inch pot of milkweed. The only downside is that removing the liquid stains from the Monarchs was difficult. But still a great tool to grow butterflies.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • There are nuances

Too small for even the newest lover!

I'm no stranger to pollinators, but I wanted to protect my cats from predators. This unit is too small for one of my milkweed/butterfly weed strains. I bought 2 of the 4 foot versions of this cage and LOOVVVEEE! I don't have to worry about what size plants to put in and I have a potted monkey that used to be full of cats, I've put it in a cage and not worried!

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Useless features

Instant butterfly or insect cage, LOVE IT and buy more for growing monarchs!

I like the fact that it is an instant pop up cage. It has a great tight screen to keep unwanted critters out! Very important when rearing monarch eggs and caterpillars! Light weight with 2 handles for easy moving. One side is crystal clear plastic for viewing! I used a hair dryer to get rid of the wrinkles. Do not cover or melt plastic. The plastic side will continue to flatten out as the cage shrinks. Easy to use and clean! Next year I will be raising Monarch caterpillars again and if they…

Saved my black sailboats

I bought this because I brought 5 sailboats at the end of September and they grew very slowly but once they grew they started leaving the parsley without being ready . I managed to keep them in a net with twigs, leaves and parsley until each of them turned into a pupa, and then I took them outside and secured them in a safe place for the winter. This net is great with a zipper that goes both ways and also has a plastic window to keep a good eye on my critters. The net is so fine that sorrel…

Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • Concise instructions
