Pocketman vs Mikafen

I compared these to the similar Mikafen flashlights, and what I found was intersting. While the Mikafen looks heaviier built, and is about .6oz heavier, the beam cannot be focused as sharply as the Pocketman, and the 14500 batteries I tested lasted 15 longer than the Mikafen(45min vs 30 min). Also, the sliding lens focus seemed more solid on the Pocketman, where some of the Mikafen was too loose. So, while the Mikafen looked better initially, the Pocketman performed better, and seemed to be more

Pros
  • That says it all.
Cons
  • Four of five is not that bad but is not worth more than three stars.

Easy to carry with the clip

For the price you cannot bet them. Easy to carry with the clip. I gave them away on vacation and everyone simply loved them. Nice that they only take one double a battery. The one battery is especially important to people that live in Mexico, Jamaica, etc since batteries can be expensive and hard to come by.

Pros
  • Good quality
Cons
  • Clip to secure light to pocket or hat is very weak it breaks off easily.

Love them!: my feedback

Got these for a camping trip for my family of five so had one left over. Gave them out as gifts to all the kids and went exploring outside. They have excellent range (you just twist the dial) and can see deep into trees or bushes with a slim beam of light. With a twist you can widen the beam and light your way through dark areas. We felt safer at night walking around with these and I loved giving one to everyone. They are metal and feel well made. We were all surprised how well they worked and…

Pros
  • It is a useful tool to have in your car or toolbox
Cons
  • The flashlight's beam is distorted

I probably have an unreasonable number of these lying around. They are 300 lumens, not as good as the 350 or 400 lumen similar units under other brands, but a good value as is. I toss them in all my toolboxes, drawers, cars, etc. I only wish they were brighter.

Pros
  • It provides a wider field of vision compared to traditional flashlights
Cons
  • The product has a bland design

One came broken, one non functional

In addition to having 2 flashlights in the order not working or broken the screws that hold the clips on fall our. Poor overall quality.

Pros
  • Flashlights
Cons
  • The modes are not easily navigable

Lumen rating wildly overstated

Overall, a good deal for such a low price, but not even close to the stated 300 lumen rating. These are flashlights that one might use to dress without waking one’s spouse, to read a map, etc. They are next to useless for hiking, or in my case, feeding and locking up my chickens at night. Side by side with a 350 lumen Streamlight, these flashlights had approximately 1/10 the illumination of the name brand light, projecting less light than the 2xAA MagLights that have been popular for decades…

Pros
  • The flashlight has a 300LM output, which is perfect for various activities and tasks
Cons
  • The flashlight doesn't project light in a focused beam

Great party favors for my opinion

Bought this for party favors for a boys party. They played flashlight tag outside with them very sturdy and they all liked that they got to take them home.

Pros
  • The pocket clip allows you to easily attach the flashlight to your bag or belt
Cons
  • The flashlight doesn't have a memory function

Flashlights and LEDS

These flashlights have 3 settings which is great, but the cavity that holds the battery needs to be improved. If the flashlight is under a heavy amount of stress/shaking the product will break and the battery will no longer stay locked in place for the light to work properly.Other than that, good product. Just don't shake or move the light a lot.

Pros
  • The package comes with six flashlights, which is an excellent value for money
Cons
  • The flashlight is not shockproof, despite its marketing

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Price to value ratio is very good.

Good value and the flashlights work great. I am a mechanic and I lose flashlights on a regular basis and having these around makes it guilt-free.

Pros
  • It work well
Cons
  • The flashlight doesn't produce enough brightness

Four Stars good for me

Found that the battery would wobble in the flashlight more so then the other Cree flashlights that I have purchased here. All of these lites will take two different batteries, I do not have the fatter battery. So I gauged the inside of all my LED lites just like these and found that thee reds ones are machined 17.7% larger the all the others. All 6 did worked but they are machined two large. I highly suspect they are actually seconds due to possible failing a quality assurance program.

Pros
  • The black finish on the flashlight adds to its sleek and stylish design
Cons
  • The flashlight feels flimsy

They should remove the "ATTACK " spikes

Great pocket light, BUT THOSE SILLY "ATTACK" spikes on the head cut into your pocket dumping the contents! They should drop that feature OR include a replacement ring without them! LOL

Pros
  • Works for me.
Cons
  • The product is not durable

Good with a small dislike

I have bought this type of torch many times from WISH. I give them away to some of customers. The reason for mostly 4's is due to the red "on/off" switch I have it to be less reliable than those that come black switches.

Pros
  • The Q5 LED Tactical Flashlight is ideal for use during power cuts and emergencies
Cons
  • The product is prone to electric shorting

Flashlights with one battery are best. My theory is that battery connections in a flashlight will drop the voltage low enough that it will not illuminate. I can rap it on something to get it working, but that sometimes fails, and then I put it down, turned on, but looking like it is off and the batteries slowly go dead. Flashlights with only one battery fail to illuminate less often.I like that these flashlights can be off, on bright, on dim or flickering. The zoom lens is nice, too.I have…

Pros
  • Love these. Using for work every day.
Cons
  • The battery life is short

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Just buy them. for my opinion

Four out of five stars because one light failed after heavy use on a weekend. These are really great little lights. Excellent battery life, simple to use and just a seriously good value. Originally bought them for a few of us to use during a three day music festival and they've been packing mainstays for the last five years.

Pros
  • Output brightness can come to 300 lumens (MAX)
Cons
  • The color of the flashlight is unattractive

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good flashlights at a good price.

I work in public safety and I always keep an abundance of tax light around. This order fit the bill for some reliable and affordable spare lights.

Pros
  • It has a zooming function, which allows you to adjust the beam of light to your preference
Cons
  • The flashlight's modes are too similar

These are a great size for keeping in my glove compartment and my numerous tool kits and are really quite bright and feel really well made.I also purchased a larger sized light by another company but I think I'll use these more frequently. The strobe light is something I could do without and wish it had its own switch to turn it on rather than when you hit the main button to turn the light on and it cycles through the setting but it's not that big of a deal.

Pros
  • The Q5 LED Tactical Flashlight has a long-lasting battery life
Cons
  • The flashlight is too heavy to be carried in a pocket

Great little bright adjustable beam flashlight

I have used these with regular 1.5v alkaline aa, rechargeable 1.2v Ni-Mh aa and 3.7v 14500 rechargeables. They shine bright for a remarkable length of time given the tiny battery that is used. The 14500 battery lasts the longest, but the others work well also.

Pros
  • Great colors. Brightness is more than expected. Must have in all homes for emergencies.
Cons
  • The button is difficult to press

Best Quality for the price, Awesome 6 pack!

Great little flashlights! For $3 a piece you cannot beat it! The clips on the flashlights are sturdy and I'm very impressed by the brightness. They take 1 AA battery which is perfect for me as I have a 12 pack of AA and AAA rechargeable batteries from revain. I pack one in each backpack, in the car, and around the house and we are set just in case of an emergency power outage.I couldn't be happier with these flashlights and would recommend them to my friends and family.

Pros
  • Great product, fast shipping
Cons
  • The flashlight doesn't come with a lanyard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good value for my opinion

Decently bright for a small emergency flashlight though nothing special. great value. feels high quality. only uses 1 AA, which is a plus. Might try getting some of the lithium batteries to see if they're any brighter. I bought these to stash in the cars, and various places around the house. overall im pleased with the purchase, and would be inclined to buy another pack if i ever needed more.

Pros
  • These are great little flashlights that are very bright especially for their size.
Cons
  • Two did not work, brightness variegated quit a bit.

COOL LOOK, BUT NOT VERY BRIGHT

Torches arrived the other day along with my new 4 pack of 14500 batteries. The physical torches look really cool with the different colors as advertised, but the beams just don't cut it.for me. I tried all 5. Even with fully charged 14500's, just not very bright like my old little Cree's (same style) as you would expect from a 7w torch that can handle 3.7 volt battery. These "Pocketman" torches put out somewhat of a blue-ish beam vs. a nice bright white light. May be fine for home use, but I…

Pros
  • These are about as handy as anything can get!
Cons
  • The flashlight doesn't have a zoom feature
