Description of ProSPORT BIFOCAL Sunglass Readers Men Women Blue Light Blocking HD Amber Lens Semi-Rimless Wrap-Around Golf Driving

Imported. Composite frame. Gradient lens. Non-Polarized. UV Protection Coating coating. Lens width: 71 millimeters. FLEXIBLE FRAMES & NOSE PIECES : These bifocal glasses are extremely lightweight and flexible, so they conform nicely around your head. You can wear these bifocal eyewear for hours while playing 18 holes of golf and not even notice they are on. Soft rubber nose pieces prevent slippage, so these bifocal glasses are perfect for cycling, tennis, baseball, running, motorcycle riding, driving and golf. 100% UV PROTECTION : Always wear sunglasses with 100% UV protection. Sometimes you will see “UV400 protection” which means the lenses will block UV light up to 400 nanometers (all UVA & UVB rays) on the UV spectrum. Prolonged exposure to the sun’s harmful UV rays can cause cataracts, pterygium and corneal sunburn. NON-SLIP RUBBER NOSE & EAR PIECES : If you want to be on top of your game, you need sunglasses that don’t slide down your nose, or fly off in the wind. If you to start to sweat, ordinary plastic nose pieces can hinder your performance. Rubber nose and ear pieces are soft and comfortable. Spend more time focusing rather than adjusting with these sunglasses. NEAR INVISIBLE BIFOCAL LINE : Everyone will need to wear bifocals at one point in their lives. But does the whole world need to notice those unsightly bifocal lines? The magnified reading area at the bottom of the lens is injection molded, which means you can’t feel the bifocal line on the lenses. The front of the lens is smooth, like nothing is there. It’s nearly invisible. It’s visible from the back of the lens, however, but not so much on the front of the lens. WHAT ARE BIFOCALS? Bifocals have a distinct magnified area at the bottom 1/3 of the lens separated by a line. The top area has zero magnification. Small objects like small print are magnified when looking through the bottom of the lens. When looking straight ahead, the vision is normal. Available in the following powers: +1.00,+1.50, +2.00, +2.50 or +3.00. Always round up if you are X.25 power.

Five Stars for my opinion

Excellent sunglasses. They are perfect for bike riding, golfing, and just to wear them as regular sunglasses. Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • NEAR INVISIBLE BIFOCAL LINE : Everyone will need to wear bifocals at one point in their lives. But does the whole world need to notice those unsightly bifocal lines? The magnified reading area at the bottom of the lens is injection molded, which means you can’t feel the bifocal line on the lenses. The front of the lens is smooth, like nothing is there. Cons
  • The glasses may not be suitable for individuals with certain vision conditions or eye diseases

Good value good for me

Overall I am happy with the glasses.I needed to be able to look at maps out on the trail without having to rummage around in my pack for my glasses. The bi-focal part is not optical grade, but what do you want for $20? Also, it may take some time to get used to the bi-focal, so use them a couple days before you pass a negative judgment.

Pros
  • Nice product
Cons
  • Scratch super easy and uncomfortable but good back ups

Broke first time I used them.

Wraparound bifocal sunglasses that ALSO have a gradient lens so it's easier to read your dashboard? Few and far between. I was hoping these would be the Holy Grail, but you see those three little holes drilled in each arm? First time I tried to put the glasses on, they snapped--right through one of the holes! Ah, well. The search continues. Maybe if you are super gentle with these they'll work OK for you.

Pros
  • good glasses for golf.
Cons
  • The lenses may easily scratch or smudge

Perfect for cycling

After cataract surgery, I just needed readers. That was a challenge for bicycle riding, as I need to see the road ahead, but also be able to read cue sheets, maps, and phone alerts. These bifocals turned out to be a perfect solution. They provide a good level of tint for sun protection, and when I'm in the saddle, the road ahead can clearly be seen through the clear part of the lens. The bifocal section at the bottom provides enough magnification that I can easily read things down at handlebar…

Pros
  • They are awesome
Cons
  • The glasses may be too heavy and uncomfortable for extended wear

Good value best in my review

Glad they come in pairs, I leave them in places I need them, but wouldn’t normally have them, like my fishing box. No complaints.!

Pros
  • No complaints.
Cons
  • Hubby liked these glasses, but they broke 10 months after purchasing.

Great Bike Glasses on my review.

Perfect for me. Can see looking forward. Not having to see down while you can't ride. Can see to the side. Not too dark, or under trees leaves and sun. I bought another in case I lose one or break one, or they quit making the same one.

Pros
  • affordable with performance.
Cons
  • The glasses may look too bulky or heavy for some users

Great for those of us who need readers in our riding glasses. The "HD" aspect does allow for riding with glasses on cloudy days or in the twilight. My only complaint is that the nose guards (rubber) keep falling off and I finally lost one. I would suggest that if you buy these you put a spot of glue on the nose guards before you wear them or you'll have glasses with no nose tips fairly fast. I would give them 5 stars if the nose piece wasn't so easily lost

Pros
  • Glasses arrived as promised, using them for golf and driving, working out very well, no surprises.
Cons
  • Frame breaks too easy, the nose piece is not comfortable

Husband loves these!

I bought these for my husband, he loves them! He wears them at work as a firefighter to have the ability to do close up detail work. He really likes how they fit, and the sporty look of them too.

Pros
  • Great sunglasses bought a pair the turnaround about another pair
Cons
  • The price may be too high compared to other sports sunglasses on the market
