Glad I bought these

This is what the dealer uses to work with wire harness connectors. Required to release connector contacts. I used to use a clip that I cut off. I'm glad I bought them.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Useless features

Expensive junk for tools and gear

I bought these because they were more expensive than some of the other options. I figured that would mean they would last longer. No, one is broken and two are already bent. And that for one day use. I ended up just switching to my old toothpick.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Ehhh, low level for tools and equipment

Disappointed with the quality and maybe my expectations were too high? No, I don't think OTC has always been a good name in the industry throughout my career. The product is flimsy and even the handles are cheap. Nice box, too bad it doesn't fix anything

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Good but not great

Electrical clamp tool kit.

When I got my hands on it, I realized how easy it is and that I have other tools that can do the same. But I kept it anyway. There are a few things that may be needed in the future. good case. Not too expensive. If you buy it, you can give it 5 stars. This is good quality.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Nice purple set, worth the investment!

Works great! Looks cheap but I haven't broken any yet. I've abused it so well so far. I have a green/yellow aluminum set that I use for Molex pens, but that's about all it does. They do everything that I have encountered so far in the field of technology and in my own garage. I wish over-the-counter sales would sell individually rather than just kits so it would be easy to replace broken ones. if they break, that is!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

No use, had to use a paperclip again

I have used a paperclip to finish my Deutsch plugs for many years. This time I decided to go broke so I could plan ahead at work. Decided I would spend the money to have the "right tool". I bought this 6 piece set instead of 3 piece sets to be ABSOLUTELY SURE I have the exact tool I need. Useless. 100% useless. I returned to the paper clip. I couldn't be more upset.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

I expected more. on Electrical System Tools

The price here really does not reflect the quality of the product. I know picks have to be thin metal to be flexible enough, but thin metal doesn't have to be cheap. I've used a flat single-ended blade (with one curved end) on about ten connectors and the curve at the tip is almost flattened. I think a fair price for this would be in the $10 range. The case is good, the tool kit is good, but the cheap metal and simple molded plastic handles hardly justify the price I paid. Plan to buy them as a

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Discontinued Model
