The only bad thing about them is the really stupid problem. The diameter of the hole that one of the mounting screws goes through is too large, resulting in each post having a wobble that persists no matter how hard you tighten the screws. It's not a big deal as the speakers don't really move, but given the price and quality of the rest of the product it's just an unfortunate oversight. Simply installing a cheap nylon pad would solve the problem.

These stands are well made and perfect for my computer monitors. I needed stands to elevate 2 monitors on my glass table and was uncomfortable buying a monitor stand that uses a clip on glass. The On Stage stands are ideal as they don't take up much space, are adjustable and not to mention they are stable and don't wobble or wobble. I'm a musician and I use On Stage products for mic stands and amps so I already knew they were going to be great quality. Worth buying.

Overall I like these racks. They are strong and sturdy so I don't have to worry about my studio monitors tipping over. There are 3 height adjustment positions. I use the lowest setting. Perfect desktop monitors for my home studio. There was a big difference in sound when I increased the height of my Yamaha HS7s from 4-5 inches to 14 inches. Not the best option for Yamaha HS8 monitors but other than using milk crates or DIY these are the only desktop stands (Gator Frameworks stands are almost identical) that I might find work.
