Chils quickly. Long lasting for the price

These are a great emergency item to keep in your first aid kid in case of a contact burn (not sunburn) or strain you need to ice. They're not meant for long term, but they will tide you over until you can get to an urgent care or other medical help (assuming you can get there in 30 minutes, 90 if you stagger all three packs). These seem to have the same build quality in terms of durability as the ones I've gotten from medical professionals. They don't last has long as the commercial grade ones,

Pros
  • Small pack stays cold for about 30 minutes before getting warm
Cons
  • I thought let me try, nope. I squeezed very gentle to pop & it was leaking on me

The very second the interior pouch is broken - via squeezing through the exterior bag - the ice pack turns VERY cold. Happens instantaneously - this is an instant cold pack.Wasn't sure at first how to activate - instructions are clear on the back but I felt pressing so hard on the interior pouch would also damage the outer bag. No worries about that - the exterior bag is durable, only the interior pouch broke and set in motion the cold activation.Perfect for travel first aid kit, camping…

Pros
  • INSTANT COLD PACKS – Dealmed Instant Cold Packs provide relief from minor injuries and are designed with flexible material that conforms to body contours.
Cons
  • Only effective for certain types of injuries, may not be suitable for more serious or long-term conditions

I would never go out on a photography outing without one or two of these in my gear. They provide an instant way to cool down when overheated. They are also excellent for aches, pains, and sprains one might acquire along the way and out in the middle of nowhere. They require no refrigeration and do not need to be pre-frozen. They can be ready in seconds. They last about 30 minutes. When you are overheated, these get your core body temperature down quickly. Ice might not be readily available, or…

Good quick first aid

Super easy to use, the fact I don’t have much to say here is a good thing. You squeeze them to activate and shake it evenly, and boom you’ve got a good cold ice pack for first aid or personal relief. It gets very cold and doesn’t seem to leak, so I could recommend this for any use where an emergency ice pack can be implemented.

Pros
  • Pain Relievers
Cons
  • No customization for size or shape of ice pack, which may not fit properly for certain injuries
