🎉 Gigatent Party Canopy Tent Review

When I received this unit the box it was in was in tatters. It could have and should have been packed better for shipping. When I tried to set up the canopy I discovered that three of the legs were damaged (not too badly, but I was unhappy) and one of the tie downs was missing, Worst though was one of the brackets that holds the corner legs in place was broken into four pieces. Arrived quickly, as expected with Prime. Some of the plastic connector pieces were broken during shipping, but Gigatent's customer service has been pretty good and I should receive the replacements by next Friday. It seems to be a quality product and easy to assemble (pop-up), but you really need at least two people (four would be best, I think) to put it up because of its size. When I have the replacement parts installed and can fully assemble the tent, I will update my review. Until then…

Based upon the review, I gave this a try. The package arrived seriously banged up and the canopy was in a rolling zipper bag that had tears in it and the zipper broke upon pulling it. Inside were multiple broken plastic pieces so we wrapped it up and sent it back and decided to try a replacement hoping this was just one bad one. The second came in a box that was in the same tattered condition with holes and tears but the tent bag was in a little better condition, but the zipper was broken…

Setup is easy. Adjustable height. Let's airflow through easily. Not sure why I have a minimum word count for this. That's my feedback.

The tent itself is easy to pop up and use!The canopy is sun protective. It blocks all the damage the sun causesThey have a great bag with wheels to put the tent in and store and transport it.There is no room for the canopy in the bag so I had to get something to store the canopy in.One complaint I have is the handles on the bag broke and make it difficult to pull the bag.It also happened on another tent bag that we got with another tent.I'm thinking they aren't sewing the handles on the bag…

We used the tent to extend the garage - outdoor space available for a winter party. We also bought the sides -- and using a propane heater it worked to provide a warm OD bar area in 25 degree weather. I was impressed. It was also very easy to put up and down and pack up in the convenient carrying bag.

I've been using tents in my yard for year. Had purchased 10 x 10 tents a few times. Figured let me find something larger. This is an EXPENSIVE tent so of course I thought you get what you pay for. Purchased on July 5th for a BBQ on July 12th. Had to cancel BBQ. Didnt get a chance to take this out of the box until 5 weeks later. I mean really, who receives opens and sets up a 20 foot tent for testing purpose? Bottom line is this tent leaks! Right through the patches they sewed on top of the tent

Support structure pops open in 30 seconds. You need 4 people to move it and 2 if not 3 to put it up. It will blow away if not ties down. Fabric top is very light but is holding up well after a month outside. Frame is a little flimsy so handle it with care. But that also results in a very light weight easy to put up shelter. Suggest roping down the middle legs too if its windy or else it turns into a kite.

Great Tent, used for a graduation party. Everyone wants to borrow it! Easy to set up and break down. Easily put lights underneath as well.

Bought for a weeklong scout camp. Works well. Heavy, wouldn't want to carry very far. Seems sturdy enough to last if taken care of when taken down

Great Tent. It performed well with it's first use 2 weeks ago. I left if up a few days after the Party, and held up great against a rainstorm Can be a little tricky setting up the first time, hence why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, as it does not set itself up.

Bought this for my son's grad party and it worked great! Easy set up and tear down. Couldn't get canopy back in the bag so I'll store that separately,but this was a great alternative to renting.

Sets up easy and looks great. A bit more heavy duty than many others. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because the carrying case handle ripped.

Sent a slightly defective product; however, they offered a partial refund which made it a good value for me. You need to know that this tent is not easy to set up by yourself. It is also too big to fit in either of my full sized sedans back seat or trunk. However if you have an SUV, Truck or minivan it is no issue. Footprint is the same as (2) 10x10 tents which will fit nicely in a sedan and you can get (2) lower quality tents for about the same or less. The quality of this tent is closer to…

Very happy with the tent we received and the timely manner in which it was delivered. Product seems very durable for the price we paid. We are looking forward to using it next week for a graduation party.

On the pricey side but worth it. We purchased it for our college tailgate and it seems to work fine. Quality seems good. Minimum Weight 85 Lbs.
