This light is pretty amazing. I have two 18" flapjacks as well and this puts out a good amount more light than those. Its big and heavy - definitely not as portable as the smaller ones and doesn't come with a case like those did. I'm loving the results from my first couple shoots with it - the larger light source is super flattering up close for portraits and has a nice even spread when placed further back. This will definitely get used all the time in my studio.
