Description of Filter AQUAEL Unifilter 750 UV

UNIFILTER 750 UV Power is an internal filter designed to purify and air the water in aquariums. The horizontal position of the rotor chamber makes it easy to clean without having to remove the filter. The filter is excellent for paludariums and aquaterrariums, because can work in a horizontal position. Filters of the UniFilter series are the perfect combination of high performance, large filtering surface and compact dimensions. The compact dimensions of the filter allow it to be placed in aquariums with a low water level, and the possibility of fastening in two positions expands the scope of applications. UniFilters can saturate the water with oxygen, and the aeration function is carried out in two ways: directly from the rotor chamber or using an aeration nozzle. The ceramic rotor axis reduces the level of noise and vibration produced during the operation of the filter, and also increases the service life of the product. The filter is equipped with two sponges. This decision made it possible to increase the filtration surface, which improves both the quality of mechanical filtration and increases the level of biological treatment, due to the greater number of beneficial bacteria living on the sponge. Another advantage is that the sponges can be replaced one by one, which leads to the maintenance of a colony of nitrifying bacteria. Removable plastic pre-filter performs preliminary mechanical purification of water, retaining large particles of dirt. The kit includes a specialized ultraviolet nozzle, thanks to which: - the appearance of floating algae is prevented; - Prevention of fish diseases is carried out; - Remains of medicines after treatment are removed from the water; - bacterial turbidity of water is eliminated. Characteristics: Power: 8 W Maximum performance: 750 l / h Maximum immersion depth: 75 cm Aquarium volume: 200-300 l Production: Poland Warranty: 2 years

Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

Happy with purchase, definitely worth the money. It is better to turn on the ultraflyer at night. During the day, photosynthesis of plants occurs and if ultraviolet works during the day, it kills the nutrition for plants. At night, the plants sleep and cleaning the water will not affect their health in any way.

Pros
  • Very quiet, the pressure of water and air is not strong, it is possible to adjust. Very easy to clean and wash. The ultraflyer is switched on separately. There is a choice: for the filter to work with or without ultraviolet light. It is possible to put a plug and pull out the lamp completely.

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

Great filter all included. It works quietly, the suction cups hold well, you can buy an insert for a bio-filler or take the 1000 model with it in the kit. Ultraviolet shines, I don’t know if there is any sense from it. It will not work for 200-300 liters (as it is written on the box), unless, of course, 10 neons live there. I took a couple to the outsider, because. he stopped coping because of the growing offspring of aquarium settlers. Bank for 190 liters. I think liters per 100 will be…

Pros
  • Works.
Cons
  • Sponges with sufficiently large pores, finely porous would be better.

Not everything is so bad, but there are disadvantages.

Filtration is carried out through two long water intakes (photo 1), on which two sponges are put on (photo 2, 3). The filter is designed for mechanical filtration. At the same time, sponges have very large pores that are able to filter out particles with a size of about 1.5 mm. Smaller debris passes freely through the sponges. But that's not all. The design feature of the container leads to the fact that filtration does not occur with the entire surface of the sponges, but only with their upper

Pros
  • - quiet; - performance adjustment; - adjustment of the direction of the outgoing water flow.
Cons
  • questionable filtration efficiency

I like everything, the price and the quality are both ok.

2 sponges in the filter can be changed alternately so that the bacteria are divided into the next one. When servicing sponges, it is convenient that the container can be pulled out along with water and sponges in it. It happens that when you turn off and then turn on the filter, air stops flowing normally, but this is normal for this design. You just need to repeat off / on. At the moment when the water in the tube through which the air is supplied equals the water level in the aquarium, you…

Pros
  • I wish the filter was quiet. I chose the ratio of power consumption to the number of liters per hour. Quiet, the compressor itself can only be heard if you put your ear at a distance of 20 cm from the aquarium. In the first 2 days it made a crackling sound, then each time the crack passed faster and disappeared. Probably the ceramic axle has worn in. There are fragile parts: my air diffuser is a little cracked, if you remove it, then carefully, twisting it a little to the right to the left. And the hook from the suction cups on which the filter itself is hung - it seems that you should not make unnecessary movements with it, although the filter is removed and put on easily. At the expense of the ultra violet, the water does not become cloudy from it. I believe that in the short period of time that water rushes through the lamp, it will not kill anyone. It just hinders the development of bacteria, both good and bad, for example, eye diseases in fish. I poured water under the stiffening ribs, so the bubbles burst under the glass (you can see in the photo) an order of magnitude quieter, although now large bubbles burst when they float out from under the glass, you need to put some kind of diffuser, smaller bubbles are not audible. and there will be no dirt and bacterial outbreaks in the upper corners. and the bottom of the ribs under water.

The right product for me, the price suited me.

After opening the box, there was no aeration nozzle and a guide tip in it. Bottom line: the fish were left without oxygen. Of course, it is possible to insert the hose directly into the UV lamp, but the sound becomes quite loud. Of course, you can buy separately, but these two parts cost 1/3 of the entire filter . It's cheaper to buy a compressor. Very upset, fish without oxygen. (pictured details 8 and 9). Complement the review: I contacted the customer service, after 2 days they sent me the…

Pros
  • It works quietly, drives the water in the aquarium with a bang.
Cons
  • Arrived incomplete
