Cuts through super thick mud without killing your drill.

I’ve been a professional drywall finisher for over 25 years and I’ve tried almost every mixer I could find. I’ve been using "USG Sheetrocks” mixer for a long time and it’s been unbeatable until now. This mixer does everything great just like the USG mixer does but the main advantage is the Level 5 mixer doesn’t take as much power from the drill when mixing super thick mud. The Level 5 really cuts through the mud without killing your drill and does a great job thoroughly mixing your bucket.

Pros
  • It's a paint mixer.it works.
Cons
  • Se oxido se puso horrible

Best mixer that is available to date!

Best mixer that is available to date! Does exactly what it is advertised to do and does it well. I tried 3 other types of mixers this week with my Milwaukee M18 cordless Mud Mixer (with HD 9.0 amp battery). Other mixers have a thin hex shaft that tends to bend and is usually to short, causing you to bend over just enough to tweek your back. They also require a mixing drill with quite a bit of torque - I'm using a cordless mixer that has a lot of torque but it is not quite the same as a really…

Pros
  • Works great !
Cons
  • The drill attachment required for use can be expensive and may only work with certain drills

Looks like good quality but you need a 1/2 drill

I'm giving this 2 stars not for any defect, but for inaccurate information. The manufacturer says the shaft is 3/8". This should fit a drill chuck of the same size. This is not the case. This shaft is just a bit too large to fit my Rigid 3/8" drill.

Pros
  • Only wish I could have kept the first one. Bought another one after the first one got ‘legs’
Cons
  • Broke after 2hrs of use

Heavy duty good for me

I’m not a painter but we do have a lot of chickens. I use this with a 1/2” electric drill to mix (combine) chicken feed. Works great and is super strong. No doubt that it would work great for paint and plaster as well.

Pros
  • It's level 5 what can you expect accept but a great product.
Cons
  • Very small. Not for professional use.

Ripped my finger open

It works great, but as you can see in the pictures it arrived with this friggin shard sticking out & I ripped my finger open on it. That's not something that should be found on a Level 5 tool.

Pros
  • Works great
Cons
  • The mixer may not be compatible with smaller buckets of mud, leading to wasted materials

Great pan mixer. for my opinion

Very happy with this mixer bought for mixing in the pan when dying the final coat way better than flipping with the knife till mixed.

Pros
  • Works excellent to mix paint Beats mixing paint with a stick
Cons
  • The extra-long shaft may not fit in all tool bags, making it difficult to transport and store

Works good best in my review

Wasn't sure if this was a waste of money but thought what the heck, I'd give it a try. Actually works very well! The old paddle style I use just spins the mud around, this thing actually pulls the mud up from the bottom and pushes the top mud down to get a thorough mix. Good purchase

Pros
  • better built mixer.
Cons
  • The paddle head can cause splatters and create a mess

Not for me in my review

This was huge, industrial size huge drill needed so impractical for your everyday drywall installer. But am sure it serves a purpose somewhere.

Pros
  • Mixes like butter
Cons
  • The large paddle head can cause the mixer to get stuck in the mud

Edges of the mixer are very sharp and led to the mixer cutting off chunks of plastic from the drywall bucket I was mixing in. Was a total pain to filter all of the plastic out of my mix. Also does not fit standard drills. Had to rig up a attachment out of superglue and an old ratchet set.

Pros
  • I like that very much pulls mud from the bottom of the bucket very well
Cons
  • The extra-long shaft makes it difficult to maneuver in tight spaces

Matte Paste/Clay Pomade

Perfect for anyone who makes hair products like matte paste, clay pomades or anything viscous that needs to be mixed thoroughly. To clean you need to boil water and wait till its rapidly boiling and give it a few blasts to clean the mixer bit.

Pros
  • Small. Works on mud pans
Cons
  • The high-speed mixing can cause the mud to splatter and stain clothing or other items

works great. in my review

.but pay no attention to what the other person wrote - metal slivers? evidently this person has never ever mixed mud or paint before. better than getting out your huge mixer for a super small job - positively perfect for 1/2 gallon whatever needs mixing.

Pros
  • If you're doughting get it you wont regret it i f'n love this thing
Cons
  • The high-speed mixing can create a lot of noise

High quality good for me

Love this mixer, it works better than paint mixers when use it with joint compound. Had a small burr from the welding process, quick file and I was all set. Very happy, would recommend

Pros
  • worked great! I make my own laundry sop and this was sooo easy Thanks a million! Betti
Cons
  • The large paddle head may not fit in smaller buckets of drywall mud

Excellent mixer for drywall mud

I don't know what people were complaining about. This thing blew through everything and made the mud like soft butter. Never had an issue with it. I would recommend this to anybody.

Pros
  • Very nice product. Just what I wanted
Cons
  • The extra-long shaft can make it difficult to clean and store

Works Wonderfully in my review

This thing works wonderfully, as advertised, and is very durable. No splashing or spill-out of drywall mud either. Would recommend.Note: Don't try to run this with your regular drill. You need a big mixing drill.

Pros
  • Best mud mixer I've ever used
Cons
  • The large size of the mixer can make it difficult to control for precise mixing

Worth the money!: my feedback

Like many others, I’ve tried numerous versions of mud mixers. This one is hands down my favorite. Well worth the money if you need one.

Pros
  • What I was looking for
Cons
  • The mixer may not work well with certain types of drills

One for home and one for classroom!

I love using these to mix paints.especially if they have been sotting a while. also bought one for the classroom and the kids (6th graders) learned to put their paint can or jar of ceramic glaze on the floor, hold it between their feet, and mix with this. Real time saver!

Pros
  • Works great!
Cons
  • The extra length may not be necessary for smaller jobs or personal use

Not a bad mixer best in my review

Not a bad mixer. The mixer may not be compatible with all types of drywall mud. Just have to be careful to not chew into the bucket. I do find little pieces from time to time.

Pros
  • Works like a champ. Can even mix In Your Mud Pan. Worth every penny
Cons
  • The mixer may not be compatible with all types of drywall mud

Best mixer money can buy

Best mud mixer ever! I love this little mixer, fits right in my mud pan to mix up small batches. Mixed my mud to a perfect consistency on my first try. This mixer is very sturdy and will last a long time.

Pros
  • It has made the mud a whole lot smoother than any other mixer I have used before
Cons
  • The size and weight of the mixer can make it difficult to transport to job sites
