Effective in many cases.

I got it for wrapping my rifle as it gets very hot. It protected my hand well from the heat when the rifle got hot and also gave me a good non-slip grip on the rifle. Tape can also be used to bandage sprains. the look of the rifle - actually made it more robust.) Well done. Although not sticky, it sticks to itself and prevents it from turning over!
