Calfee, Halter & Griswold Review

I have used this firm for many years now as my attorney throughout several states including California where it was located at one time but then moved out east so we had an office here locally which helped with ease when needing local representation (and there were times). They provided excellent service back during their heyday! But they seem like maybe things changed or just fell apart after some bad decisions by leadership? They were able to help us with some complicated tax issues we had gotten entangled into at another firm. I would say they could have made it more clear who was going where for what meeting or how long things took during each stage but otherwise very professional from start-to finish! I like having an attorney who listens carefully and can explain things better than me. He will ask relevant questions about what it's needed for without being pushy or assuming you know his answer already (or worse yet, telling me). But other times he could be too opinionated when explaining certain terms. It doesn't really bother me since we're not going into any actual contracts/documents with such things as this but rather just figuring out how much something should cost before doing work…

Working with their lawyers was always quick and very helpful! They made things happen without much wasted time or money getting something done so they were good about keeping my costs low while still giving me what I needed when it came down ot signing documents/legal agreements etcetera. Nothing really; maybe trying some new forms would be nice once everything's settled up there for them? The best part about working at this firm was their ability to work with me as an independent contractor for my own benefit. I enjoyed being able to set hours that worked around mine instead of having them dictate when they wanted things done. This helped us both out tremendously! There were no downsides or problems.
