Description of BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 245/65 R17 111 year old

The BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 is the most durable off-road tire ever made. 50% road, 50% off road. If passenger tires from the North American company BFGoodrich are not particularly popular, then their counterparts for SUVs are often called “classics of the genre” and “legendary”. These epithets will most likely be applied in the future to the All Terrain T / A KO2 model, which appeared in the manufacturer''s assortment quite recently. Its distinguishing feature is not the versatility of application, but the technical solutions that provide it. Most of them were "borrowed" from professional off-road tires. But unlike them, this model is well adapted for use on the highway, where it demonstrates good performance. However, its greatest strengths still manifest themselves outside paved roads. Like the previous generation tire, this model is equipped with reinforced sidewalls. But in this case, its rigidity has been further increased, thanks to the use of CoreGuard technology. Previously, she has successfully established itself on racing tires. Its essence lies in the increased thickness of the sidewalls and the use of a special compound in its manufacture, which is characterized by increased resistance to any mechanical stress. As you know, one of the "signature" features of off-road tires from BFGoodrich is excellent endurance when operating even in the most difficult operating conditions. This model in this regard is not only not an exception, but also shows this property more clearly. This was achieved through several technical solutions at once. One of them was a significant increase in tread width, due to which the load on the contact patch is distributed more evenly, thereby reducing the likelihood of uneven wear. This feature is further enhanced by the optimized shape, size and arrangement of the blocks. In addition, there are special elements in the grooves between them that prevent stones from getting stuck, which also helps to increase the life of the tire. The tread pattern of this tire is replete with numerous blocks, which, in order to achieve excellent performance on any type of surface, have a complex configuration. The significant height of these elements and the location at a great distance from each other improve traction characteristics on earthen soils with a high moisture content. In turn, the aggressive design of the shoulder zones, part of which is located on the sidewalls, provides the tire with confident behavior on rocky surfaces. In addition, the staggered block arrangement and numerous 3D sipes allow the tire to exhibit good grip on icy and snowy roads. The main features of the BFGoodrich All Terrain T / A KO2 tire are reinforced sidewalls made of a compound resistant to mechanical stress, providing

Best I have ever used, great product for anyone!

In the villages around Hong Kong and throughout the winter of 2022–2022, I used the tire. Prior to it, I used Toyota LC200 winter-summer stock Dunlop AT22. At the winter Bridgestone Bliizak, there is also an LC120 in the family (there is no distinction from BF). I drove every day this winter while skating about 8000 kilometers, and I never got stuck or skidded anywhere. If you skate tight and without fanaticism or folly, you can move along on ice at speeds of 80 to 120 km/h. When there were no…

Pros
  • All-season, subtle, well-balanced
Cons
  • cost and weight.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

On UAZ patriot, on stampings. I had ST MAX Coopers, Yokohama MT, AT Bridges, now BF "brains" decided to try it. As long as you like it.

Pros
  • Strong as kirzachi. The protector is closer to mud. Pretty quiet for a projector like this. Asphalt rutting feels weak.
Cons
  • expected heavy Expected balancing from 40 to 180 gr.

In both dirt and asphalt, ideal. At slow speeds, you can definitely hear the tires, but that doesn't mean it's noisy. On thickly packed snow, not so much. On ice like a cow. I think loose snow behaves much better in oatmeal than winter does. Spikes or Velcro were still on my mind before winter, but now that I've spent the majority of the winter driving, I realize it's for the best that I held off. I put 40.000 miles on it. No wear is present. Almost new! properly proportioned and dressed. True,

Pros
  • For daily use, there is no better all-wheel drive!
Cons
  • On ice, slick

Tires suitable for use in all seasons (in the Hong Kong area and beyond). Do not take the word of anyone who says she is a summer or a small minus. Learn as much as you can about the subtleties yourself. Rubber is marked with a snowflake and the word "MOUNTAIN," both of which have meanings if you look closely enough. A snowflake might be uncomplicated at times, but this one is a mountain! In temperatures as low as -10 degrees Fahrenheit and as high as -15 degrees Fahrenheit, rubber outperforms…

Pros
  • Tires that won't kill you and perform well all year. There isn't a more competent SUV than this one. It has a refined and polished appearance, and if the inscriptions bother you, you can always keep them inside. I originally bought a pair for my LC 200 but have since transferred one to my Prado 120.
Cons
  • Definitely 15% more gas was used.

Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

Pajero 4. I skated 3 seasons on them (before that, 3 seasons of Cooper AT3). Emotions remained positive. Noisy, consumption has increased, but they go everywhere) and if you lower it a little even to 1.2, then they work wonders. Asphalt - they go like on rails, rolled up to 175 km / h. Sold with a balance of 8 mm. Definitely recommend to buy for medium and heavy))) and I'll try something new

Pros
  • Very beautiful
Cons
  • heavy

Nice product, happy with my purchase and may buy again.

Amazing tires, the Best!, but for serious SUVs like Land Cruiser, Patrol and pickups, especially for heavy frames and those with Honest Four-Wheel Drive, and not parodies from the Schmitar, Raviki, Shamoroki, Tuparegi and other scrap metal series. I am a fan of this tire! I have been operating since 2022 on a 2022 Toyota Tundra 1 4.7L engine, and on a 2022 Toyota Fj Cruiser from scratch. Runs on each rubber 50-65000 thousand. And as I wrote above, 70% of my mileage is a crossroads. Good luck…

Pros
  • Pretty specific tires. Indestructibility-Yes, wear resistance-Yes, rowing is excellent! Sand, crossroads, clay is average, as the tread is clogged, you go through deep snow like a steam locomotive on rails with an honest all-wheel drive. The city is absolutely meaningless. The best tires for those who have 70-75% cross country operation, and the rest is the city. In some cases, even all-wheel drive did not have to be turned on.
Cons
  • Despite the fact that it is declared as all-weather, it is not the best option for winter! At -15 and above, it starts to tan and not weakly. There is no grip on ice as a fact! Moreover, for 10 years of driving on this rubber (3rd set already!) There is no universal solution to turn on full or stay on the back on the ice. Quite noisy.

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

Rubber is beyond praise. Expected that the pavement will buzz. Nothing like this! Noise, of course, but hardly noticeable. In handling, too, did not notice much deterioration, the road keeps well. Sometimes I accelerate to 160 km, I do not feel any discomfort. I don’t poke my nose on severe off-road on my Nissan Pathfander, but I pass the slippery primer for fishing and picking mushrooms without any problems. Much better than stock tires. Tire wear resistance is good, 1-2 mm of tread can be…

Pros
  • great looks, good handling on pavement, thick sidewalls
Cons
  • very heavy, high price

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

I have been using rubber for a little over a year, I put it on Pajero Sport 2 last summer and did not take it off. I did not expect such a positive in everything. When buying a little "toad choked", but as soon as the rubber was put on the car, it immediately began to let go. Having driven a thousand kilometers on it for a year, I can say with confidence that the rubber is worth the money, don’t think about it, unless of course you are not going to climb into the mirror in the slurry. At the…

Pros
  • Appearance On KO2, the side protector is impressive Not noisy at all (very surprised) Rushing through mud and snow with a bang I don't change tires in winter.
Cons
  • No

Has some pros: Good rubber, it behaves normally on all types of coverage all year round, including snow, it shows itself perfectly in mileage, I think it will be enough for + - 100,000 km. Its cons: It lathers in strong mud, slips on bare ice, but you should not expect complete versatility, such rubber probably has not yet been invented.

The item was good, I'll recommend it to my friends.

Used this rubber 225/70 R16 on two RAV 4 cars of the first and second generation. Drove a total of 40 thousand km on them. on different roads and off-roads. Excellent road holding, even dry or wet. On the pavement, I have never heard the ABS work, even during emergency braking. There is no hydroplaning even at 120 km/h. It goes great on the primer, I haven’t seen better rubber. Never got stuck! Without fanaticism, I didn’t climb into terrible swamps and swamps, but the field roads after the…

Pros
  • Excellent grip on any surface from hot asphalt to moderate off-road. Very strong and wear resistant. Appearance . Comfortable passage of all kinds of cracks , potholes , joints and speed bumps .
Cons
  • NOISE ! Very strong, especially from 60 to 80 km/h. Closer to 120, it subsides a little, and then intensifies again. Very heavy and doesn't roll well on pavement. Fuel consumption has gone up a lot.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Stands on Nissan Pathfinder, drives 80% asphalt, 20% moderate off-road. Balanced without problems. Declared 160 km / h, I confirm, even accelerated to 180, it’s going fine. There is little noise. In the mud, even when the tread is clogged, the side sipes row. In winter, it behaves no worse than non-studded winter tires, it does not tan even at -30. 2022 She has been on a patchfinder for 3 years and has been on a sport 3 pager for 3 years already. The opinion has not changed. Put on the car and

Pros
  • All-weather, survivability, you can ride it on any road and in any weather, and as far as the car allows, it is no worse than the average summer / winter tires.
Cons
  • Heavy, as a result, consumption per liter increased (11=>12)

8 years on this departure, bought the next set. For me it's optimal. Trips to the river, in the winter to the cottage. I don't go on ice. Doesn't make noise for me. But I have a diesel. I can't hear. For 60,000 runs, 40 percent of the tread remains. But the years take their toll. The rubber loses its properties. Strong. Broke once, one wheel. Balanced for all the time only when I put it. Doesn't hit.

Pros
  • Corresponds to the declared characteristics.
Cons
  • No

Was bought in size 265/60/18 instead of michelin 255/55/18. (Cross contact) . "Heaviness" was immediately felt, they stand on the Amarok (210hp-chip), and the noise appeared a little, if the Michelin was silent, then a slight rumble appeared on the bf Goodrich, a slight howl. As soon as we set it up, we got into the rain and the car was dragged on wet pavement slightly when braking - it was very tense, even upset! but after 10 thousand runs, the rubber "opened up" - the noise almost…

Pros
  • Durability, patency, course stability. Appearance.
Cons
  • Balancing - on one wheel 150gr, the rest up to 100gr. Weight. The letters are black on this model.

A great option for this money, one of the best offers.

For understanding, I operate on a VAZ 21213 Niva, size 215/75 R15, on VSMPO forging (weight up to 5 kg, thereby compensating for the small weight of rubber), about six months, mileage about 6000 km, 65% asphalt, 25% gravel road, 10% in vain and related on vacation. Previously, I didn’t believe that it was possible to purchase one set for summer and winter, and the car would not only be manageable in summer or winter, but well, plus it has quite sufficient cross-country ability and is quite…

Pros
  • Soft (for off-road). Not noisy (for critics - do not forget that this is not a highway for a passenger car). Omnivorous - winter, summer, in vain, stones. Price, considering what you buy for summer, winter, track, dirt.
Cons
  • Rubber does not have them (not counting the weight of the tire under 15 kg), people who are looking for them and do not understand the purpose of the item being bought have them.

Great all purpose tyre. I took it in the size 285x75/16. Goodrich also stood before her, but MT KM2. The weight of the KO2 and KM2 wheels is about the same, but the KO2 is much more comfortable, quieter and softer, like on a regular highway. Brakes are better too. For those who go on long-distance expeditions with high mileage on asphalt or primers, these tires are the best fit. Off-road, of course, not MT, but still decent traction. For myself, I chose the option AT KO2 + "honeycomb" chains…

Pros
  • Quiet, soft car goes, while excellent cross-country ability, incl. and in the snow
Cons
  • One of the four wheels turned out to be crooked - oval, not round, an imbalance of 450 grams, they tried it on two tire shops, twisted it relative to the disk, turned it on different machines. As a result, it was possible to exchange under warranty for another. For the rest of the tires, the imbalance did not exceed 150-170 grams.

I bought tires before winter, traveled December-March inclusive, dashed off 10,000 km. Since I work in the countryside and live in the metropolis, I can say that the rubber behaves with dignity both in the field and on the city road. I noticed that in the city, many on spikes begin to grind from a traffic light, and you calmly leave without any problems. On a wet road with rutting, there are no problems, the only thing is those who behind you are raking in full (dirt flying from under the…

Pros
  • Stable, behaves well on slush, its softness can be changed by tire pressure. I put it in exchange for Maxxis A / T - 771 (on which I skated for three years and 70,000 runs), the feeling is that I changed my shoes from model shoes to slippers.
Cons
  • No

I have owned it for 2 months, I went off-road a couple of times, I drove 3 thousand on asphalt. I changed the wheels from the stock Dunlap AT, which came from the salon. Didn't notice any difference in handling or braking. The wheel itself is slightly larger compared to the stock one - the front right rubs the fender liner in extreme positions, but not much, I plan a small lift, so I'm not worried. On the offroad, it went down to 0.8 atm, the contact patch noticeably increases, it rides through

Pros
  • Controllability Virtually no noise Ground traction
Cons
  • Need a lot of weight to balance
