My dog and cat approve of this pet bed. As soon as I got it, I removed the cover (bonus!), washed on gentle cycle and dried on low. It came out great.The material of the outer cover is very soft/fur-like on one side, and is a see-through type of material on the back. I bought two of these for my pups. These are the pillows inside the cover. One appeared new and the other package was opened and the product was used and damaged. Two of the darts were missing and the bed looks sloppy. I could try to sew darts in to make it right but shouldn't have to do that when paying $43 for a "new item". This is when Revain sucks because you can't see what you're getting. I didn't want a "garage sale item". Poor quality for this price!

This is not a regular dog bed, it is exactly what it says.a crate pad. I actually keep it in my SUV with seats folded flat so the dogs have a comfy spot to lie down. The pad is floppy and flexible so the dogs enjoy pawing it into the exact shape they want. Its soft and the fabric is inviting. My guys like it and it doesn't take up much space when it needs to be put away.

I ordered this pad/blanket/mat for our plott hound. It's so soft. It's soft enough for a baby and I almost hated to put it in the dog crate it's so soft. One side is faux fur and the other side feels like satin.The bed is not super padded though and works more as a cuddler or crate blanket than an actual dog bed. Does not have orthopedic support for older dogs.Very good quality product, and you can remove and wash the cover. Dog is very happy with the mat. Fairly priced. Would recommend.

I like it is a good size for the dog in the front seat of the car where she likes to sit It is nice and soft,however I do not see that it gets warm at all

My dog was getting overheated after playing hard this summer. He lays on the cool side and it works to cool him down and relax him. Very happy with the product overall. Worth the money for a relaxed and comfy dog.

It has a smooth side. It is decidedly not self cooling no more than turning over a pillow is self cooling. It gets hot on either side just as fast.

Have to buy two more as my dogs fighting over who lays on it. My one dog has allergies and the coolness really helps her. At night with AC on I turn over to soft side she loves it.

I could use this for myself! The furry side is for warmth, the gel side is for coolness. I can feel the coolness when first touching it. It isn't memory foam but is still soft and fluffy. Not heavy, so I can move it around if needed. Large enough for my 60lb dog to circle over and then plop down.

Well all I know is my dog loves it and snuggles right into it. This comfortable mat fits right inside her cage. Likes both sides depending on the weather. She say "ruff ruff hooray”.

This pet bed is so great! I love that it has a warm side and a cool side, my animals have really loved the cool side this summer! It is so fluffy and soft, and is MUCH bigger than I thought it would be, but my animals don't mind that.

Very soft and fluffy, but not very thick. This is best for smaller dogs. Mine are both around 50lbs and really don't like this as a bed. It gets the most use as a pillow when they are on the couch. The GSP will fluff it and shove it into the corner of the sectional and prop herself against it or use it as a pillow. This bed came in today, and I struggle with calling it a bed. It is like a pad or blanket. It is very soft and the smooth side is cooling, so for that, I gave it 3 stars. The pillow inside is near flat. It did not come vacuum sealed so it is not flat from needing to fluff up. If you are looking for a soft or cool cover to place over a thicker bed this would be nice but so far neither of my dogs is impressed.
