protect your young plants from bugs and critters

just what I needed for insect control and critter control plus it is thin enough to NOT generate too much heat. I live in Florida and I don't need extra heat, believe me. I use this to cover my lettuce mix and my sweet potato plants. both of which were getting devoured by iguanas and bugs. One iguana can devastate a whole bed in no time, especially when the plants are young. This stuff is easy to put down once you get some support system in place to hold it up. I used PVC once and some very…

Pros
  • Ok
Cons
  • It has a glued joint that comes apart in the heat

Great cloth good for me

Love this row cloth! My cabbages are growing like weeds under it. Will definitely purchase more in the future. Can lead to mold growth on crops.

Pros
  • 2.16 pounds
Cons
  • Can lead to mold growth on crops

Cover your plants to keep the bugs off

Great product and customer service backs up their product. Will buy again for early spring and late fall gardens. May even leave it on during the heat and see what happens.

Pros
  • 12 x 12 x 4 inches
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all types of crops

Okay but previous brand allows more light.

I previously purchased light weight cover from Gardener's Supply and this does not look as translucent. I tested both with a professional grade light meter. This brand allowed 435 x100 Lux at midday. 560x100 Lux full sun. The Gardener's brand came in at 490 x100 Lux. Both measured 4 inches below the cover using a container to stay uniform. So both passed at lot of sunlight, but the Gardener's band was better (out of stock till August).

Pros
  • This product has worked great for me. It keeps my shrubs from the freezing cold.
Cons
  • May not be effective in extreme temperatures

Great stuff best in my review

I have been using for covering my small FL garden for several years. It reduces the heavy sun exposure but still lets sun and rain through. I wash at least once and can reuse.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • Requires special care when storing

Do not recommend, cheap and weak

This is not the agribon brand. It's a cheap version of row cover. If you enjoy spending time getting everything set up and to go out the next day after a windy night and all of it being ripped to shreds, and having to purchase a different row cover and redoing all your work, then this product is for you. But, if you value your time, energy, and money. stay clear of this. I pulled out my scraps of actual agribon from last season and it was SO much stronger.

Pros
  • Used on winter veggies. Perfect product and arrival. Thanks.
Cons
  • Can restrict air flow to crops

heavy duty row cover

used it to cover blueberry bushes to keep birds off the fruit. worked well and did not tear even in severe thunderstorm winds

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • Can be difficult to remove after use

Ripped coming out of the package

I didn't even get to use this, it ripped a huge hole as it came out of the package. I understand that the fabric has to be thin and lightweight to allow light through, but it's so fragile! Deeply disappointed.

Pros
  • Worked well until the really hard freeze, just right for normal winter weather in this local
Cons
  • used itemcan't comment

Good value & happy plants

Protects my plants all year long. Improved growth and my plants look healthy. Using product for 3 seasons now. Purchased again due to wear and tear. Overall good value

Pros
  • We bought this to grow pumpkins and it's been wonderful. Highly recommend.
Cons
  • May require additional anchoring to prevent it from blowing away

Just what I needed on my review.

This is just what I needed. We usually have a cool windy Spring and this is what I used to cover my garden until it got warmer. It held up well to very windy conditions (gusts to 40 mph). The company name is not printed in the middle like it shows in the picture. It is off to the side and you can't hardly see it. This is a nice length - I cut it to fit my 3 raised beds. I can use it for several seasons.

Pros
  • Use one last year and it work great
Cons
  • Can attract pests to crops

save your winter garden

kept the plants alive with extended temperatures in the teens - performed better than expected just laying over the plants with no hoops.

Pros
  • Lightweight and easy to install
Cons
  • Can be difficult to cut to specific sizes

NOT authentic AGRIBON - no stamped logo on fabric

I have been using Agribon 19 for quite a few years. I didn't open the package from Plantonix right away and when I did, discovered it is NOT authentic AGRIBON. Has no logo stamped on the fabric and texture and weight were different from what was left over on my authentic AGRIBON roll. SHAME ON PLANTONIX calling their fabric Agribon when it is NOT!

Pros
  • Gardening & Lawn Care
Cons
  • Can hinder pollination

Good product best in my review

Agribon 30 allows the covered plant sufficient light while providing 6 degrees of thermal protection. It's my go-to choice.

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • May not be aesthetically pleasing in a garden setting

Plants survived 16 degree Fahrenheit temperatures.

We rarely get temperatures in the teens in the coastal bend of Texas. I covered my vegetable garden with this cover and had very little freeze damage to my broccoli, Swiss chard, and young cauliflower plants. I used a small hoop tunnel that I normally use in hot weather to shade my tender plants from the hot sun and then covered the tunnel with the frost cover. We had very strong winds for 4 days and the fabric held up with no tears or rips. This is a quality product.

Pros
  • 🌱 WEATHER PROTECTION & PEST PROTECTION: Protect plants from snow, hail, frost in the winterActs as a physical barrier, keeping away plagues like white flies and other aphids.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to find replacement sizes

Good light shade, partial chipmunk baffle protection

Good product for a very light shade cloth covering. I purchased this with two main, yet unconventional purposes. 1) to keep aphids from showering down on my kale from the neighbor’s aspens. Fail! They found it anyway. 2) to discourage chipmunks from raiding all my tender young veggies. Moderately successful! I’ve actually got some nice lettuce this year! But those crafty little guys still managed to find small holes in my fortress. Nevertheless this is a good product and I will likely buy a…

Pros
  • Allows for optimal light transmission
Cons
  • May not protect against all types of pests

Kept my pea seeds from being eaten

I have a small vegetable garden, and for the last 3 years the birds at the seeds. I used this right on the ground over the seeds. I held it in place with rocks. I checked for growth after about a week, and kept checking. When the plants were about an 1" high, I took off the product. I washed it and hung it on a line outdoors and will reuse next year. I wish they sold this in smaller amounts, but it works great.

Pros
  • Can be used in all planting seasons
Cons
  • May require additional support during heavy snowfall
