The directions are in millimeters. I used my Alexa speaker to help quickly convert them to inches for me. But the directions have no words just pictures. After getting it up I had trouble with the soft close mechanism not loading up. I figured out there are two leveling screws on the back of the rail and I just lowered the soft close mechanism to hold onto the grab tab for a few more inches and now it works fine. I’m a union journeyman carpenter and normally install a barn door track in a half hour. This one took me close to 5. It’s a great track if you can figure out the soft close option (probably 4 of the 5 hours) but there are 0 directions for installation of the soft close and the directions that are included are incomplete and in metric (I live in the USA, not a problem for the rest of the world). Everything went together with ease. It supports a 75 lb. door with no problem. Some reviews said the instructions did not give measurements in inches but the included instructions were in both metric and inches.

We used this kit on a custom barn door I made for our bathroom remodel project. It seems very well made. All of the metal parts are heavy duty. The price vs some other kits makes it seem a very good value. The instructions were impossible to follow but we figured it out.

Comparable to national hardware but much less expensive. We have three barn doors two of these and one from National purchased at Lowe’s, these are a much better price and just as sturdy, glide is perfectly smooth and works great!
