We ordered this for our 18 pound teenage dachshund. Gunther was not miniature and not standard. It was 26 inches long from the top of the forehead to the croup and about 12 inches from the bottom to the top of the back. There was enough space for him wrapped in a nice beach towel and we added a little wubba toy which was his favorite, we could add a few more items if needed. I will say the tape is a bit annoying but take your time. and everything will be fine. We found out about his possible lymphoma on Monday, I ordered a coffin on Wednesday afternoon to be prepared for the worst. He arrived on Friday afternoon. This gave our family time to recognize the finality of the situation. We knew he was being put into something good, away from the predators. That gave us some comfort.
