I have been using this machine for several months now. i really like it It is relatively quiet, runs very easily and sews very quietly. I got it up and running in less than an hour after unboxing it. The settings are pretty intuitive once you understand the little graphical icons and what they mean. The buttonholes it makes are wonderful. Appliqué stitches are even and easy to select. I like that you can adjust the size. I didn't have to adjust the tension for anything and left the setting " Align the side of the flywheel with the notch on the machine and slowly pull the lever - take your time and do not use force. If you do this, it will thread the needle very easily. Other thread cutting points on the bobbin mechanism, on the bobbin case and on the side of the machine for the automatic threader are very easy to use. The automatic bobbin winder works fine, but shuts off when the bobbin is only about 2/3 full. Too bad. Sewing a lot means you have to stop to refill the bobbin. The bobbin can be wound with a separate motor, but I have to stop sewing to do that.
