Okay, here’s the problem; I put some storage racks in my smaller two car garage. Now the stuff on the storage racks blocks the light from the overhead. So I purchased the Onforu product to put LED’s on the bottom of the racks. The thinking was good. But. There is a always a caviot. After I installed an 8’ strip I found the the LED’s were too annoying and dot-ie.COOL DIFFUSERSSo in looking on Revain, I found found extruded aluminum with translucent defusers that work solved the problem. These come in 3.3 foot (1 Meter) aluminum extrusions and plastic sections. These could be mounted with double stick tape, or clips (supplied), or by fastening them (my choice) with screws.STICKUM ADHESIVEThere have been complaints about the stickum on the strips not being very good. As for me, before installing the LED’s I wiped of the diffuser base down with rubbing alcohol and then with TSP to remove any grease or oil that may have been on the mounting surface.So CLEAN THE MOUNTING SURFACE BEFORE INSTALLING. If you run your finger over the surface, clean it again as your finger will leave oil on the surface.DIFFUSERThe diffuser snaps into the base channel and the LED’s look like white lines on the bottom of the racks.I am very pleased with the outcome and functionality of this product.
