I needed a different tool chest for a couple of cordless drills, wrenches and battery packs as they just lay around my shop. This tool box is perfect for all needs. It's made of hard plastic, but to be honest there are thicker toolboxes out there. If you need a heavy-duty, long-lasting case that you can take to work, throw in the back of a truck, and shake around all day, I'd probably avoid this toolbox. But since I just needed a home for a couple of cordless tools, this is perfect for me. Typical is the flip-top lid and nice that the fasteners are made of light metal and not plastic. You get storage in the lid, and the plastic lids for these storage compartments seal tight, which is a nice touch. They have a small carrying tray on the bottom which is nice but as I use this box to carry bulky items I probably won't use it all the time. It currently includes a cordless drill, a cordless screwdriver, three different cases of drills and bits, two 2.0mA batteries, one 5.0mA battery and a drill handle! That's not much to carry in such a small package. Of course I had to play a bit of Tetris to get everything right, but once I did everything was just perfect, even with a small tray inside! I also love that you have three separate storage bins. Each measures about 6" x 6" and has a zippered lid that stays pretty tight, and they fit nicely in the main tool box if you have the space (which I didn't have). I will most likely not keep them and put them on the shelf; They can hold screws, bolts, knives, etc. A nice addition in my opinion.
