Order extra LR44 batteries!
This device has worked quite well for us, reliably allowing an elderly family member to call for assistance over the length of our fairly long house. We're finding that a set of three LR44 batteries for the necklace lasts a week or two and they are fairly expensive if purchased in the local drugstore. I've found a 15-pack here on revain to be a much better deal.
