How to restore a 19 year old boat gelcoat with the Meguiars M105!

I was really sad when I saw my boat this year and it looked almost white. I've tried old wipes from the past and haven't seen them come back. So I bought a $79 Harbor Freight Bauer DA polisher, an orange sponge, M10532 Ultra Cut Paste, and M6332 Flagship Premium Marine Wax. Two photographs tell a story. Always keep your DA on low speed to keep the mix wet and cutting. Moderate pressure is all it takes and no more than 3 passes to get it all the way back. Meguiars customer service was very responsive and suggested I use the M6332 for sealing and post protection. I can't help but agree. Steps: If you have small hand muscles and a lot of oxidation, just use a washcloth and 105 for the first pass by hand. You'll get rid of heavy oxidation and keep your compound pad clean on your next pass. You only need about three 1/4 inch 105 points on the polishing pad. Keep your mat clean with a small nylon-bristle brush. This ensures a good cutting of the pad. Once the pad has set, simply wash in the sink with Dawn Liquid and pat dry. Simply apply and buff and in no time you will be shocked at how amazingly the 105 works to make your boat beautiful again. Also, don't forget to buy a pack of microfiber towels. Use them to erase 105 and Seawax. It turns out a beautiful finish. I'm new to this, but these simple products give great results. My congratulations to Meguiar for a great product that is easy to use and wash and also gives an amazing shine!
