Review on Momcozy Pregnancy Maternity Removable Sleeping by Theresa Brown

Almost perfect for maternity pillow

Non pregnant woman! I sleep on my side and sometimes have back pain or neck stiffness while sleeping. I'm 5'0" tall and when I'm on it the ribbed side of the pillow is just under my butt. Not too big, not too small. I decided to buy a pregnancy pillow after seeing the ridiculous prices for real ones Saw side sleeping pillows. When the package arrived there was a strange smell of mothballs, but it quickly disappeared when I opened it fully. The package could not be opened! The pillow was in a rice bag sealed with tape. At first I thought ,I was given an open/used pillow because of this.It was sealed like a rice bag with a sealed hole so I know it was never used or opened. The pillow expands quickly once I take it out of the packaging. I left it alone for the day and went to work and when I finally lay down on it I was a little disappointed that the ribbed side had uneven padding, and by uneven I meant h not firm enough or not enough padding. There are places where I could squeeze the pillow and my hands would just sink in like there was no padding. For me it doesn't matter as I can just buy more toppings. This was my only complaint aside from a pain in the butt upon unboxing. In terms of temperature, the neck and head section gets hot after just a few minutes of lying down. I blame the cover (it looks like the mink fabric was trimmed a bit). The simple solution is to get a different cover or just use a regular pillowcase, cut off the ends, place it over the pillow and sew it onto the cover provided. I've done just that and I don't have any overheating issues and I'm a person who exudes a lot of heat. Bought September 2021 it's now the end of October and I still love this pillow! The overheating problem has gone away with the change of seasons (it's much colder here now). I ended up adding more filling as the padding moved from the thin parts of the pillow to the thicker sides ending on the bottom. However, this is a fairly firm pillow.
