Review on πŸ”Š Edifier R1700BTs Active Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers - High-quality Wireless Studio Monitor Speaker - 66w RMS with Subwoofer Line Out by Adam Wawrzyski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It was a reasonable purchase, I will order more.

Having a limited (up to 8-year) budget meant that I had to carefully consider pricing versus quality while selecting home acoustics. I am not an audiophile, and my previous speakers were the SVEN MS-970, whose subwoofer finally gave out after 11 years. A pair of eye-level loudspeakers for your dwelling. The sound is crisp but lacking some bass. The reliable Bluetooth connectivity is a huge plus. Connecting my iPhone to speakers without involving anyone else is incredibly quick because I listen to music on the phone and frequently get together to the music. However, there is a drawback since. Anyone in the building, without my knowledge, can connect to the bluetooth because it is not password protected and broadcasts constantly (and the signal is transmitted quite powerfully - it spans the entire 2-room apartment). It's simple to misplace the little remote control. Excellent sound quality considering the cost.

Pros
  • The DU, Bluetooth, sound quality, and portability.
Cons
  • Bluetooth always sends out signals if you don't use a passkey. There is no way to turn off this function. The power wire is really short.
