Review on Headphones Monoprice Noise Canceling Headphone by Bong Cha ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend.

First, about noise reduction. On the street, cars just rustle past you, that's all. You can't hear people unless they're yelling. The noise of the metro will be heard, although it is quiet, but this is normal, they do not suppress 100% of the noise :) I use it in the office, I listen to trance while I work. I don't listen softly or loudly. You can’t hear people, that is, you can’t hear them at all, if, again, they don’t yell. If someone is standing right next to you and talking in a normal tone, you can’t hear him. Sounds like knocking are heard, although quieter. Actually, it was most important for me to completely cut off other people's conversations, so they perform their function perfectly for me. If you listen to, for example, quiet classical music or ambient, most likely you will hear something. The sound is good and voluminous enough for such headphones, the ears were bought for the sake of noise reduction, but the sound is also pleasant. Without noise reduction, the sound is worse, becomes flatter and more plastic. In principle, you can listen, the difference is not so great, it was even normal for someone. But I don’t like it: I know that they can do better, but this is some kind of garbage :) Initially, they pressed hard on the head: the bow cuts, the pad is too small to somehow help this, it is almost no higher than the plastic part. If loosened to a normal state (that is, it turns out when the headband does not touch the head if possible), the noise reduction will be almost as good, since the ear pads still fit snugly against the ears, so I now wear them relaxed, for me this is not critical . People still can't hear. I have medium sized ears, the ear pads seem to cover them completely. Yes, the pillow and ear cushions are made of eco-leather, until they are rubbed. In addition to a small pillow, the headphones sit comfortably. Batteries lasted me a little less than a month of use during working hours. Similar batteries (standard ones, I don’t remember how many - not at hand) are enough for a week and a half. Hard case for headphones. In general, I like it.

Pros
  • Well made, do not creak, do not play, noise reduction is normal, the sound is good.
Cons
  • The soft pillow under the temple could be bigger, in its present form it almost does not bring any benefit, well, except maybe not bare plastic - it's already good. Perhaps this is somehow connected with design features, and they cannot be done otherwise, but such a feature is not good at all.
