Review on SteelSeries Arctis Pro + GameDAC Black Wired Gaming Headset - Certified Hi-Res Audio - Dedicated DAC and Amp - for PS5, PS4, and PC by Aneta Sawicka ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed at how well made the product is, just magical!

Prior to that, I used audiophile headphones that cost fifty thousand dollars and sound cards to play music. The very first time I went, I made the decision to bring a headset. It goes without saying that the sound quality, for instance, will not be comparable to that of the OPPO PM-1 headphones. Yet, this is a headset designed for gaming, and the Arctis Pro GameDAC functioned admirably when playing the game. It's true that there was a strange sound at first, but after some time I grew used to it. In PUBG, you are able to hear everything in terms of volume and distance in all directions, including who sat in which toilet and on which level. Regarding the music, I will say that they play sufficient amounts for normal listening, but I used an equalizer to make it sound better. You have to take into account the fact that everyone's hearing is unique in this situation. As a side note, they are connected after the sound card due to the fact that the USB cable was used (such as its own sound card). The SteelSeries Engine program makes it easy to utilize and configure them in a variety of different ways. On the remote, there is a nice off/on button for the DTS, however as soon as you start playing the game, they automatically switch to the on mode. The board is never used by me in any way. The headphones have a dial that may be turned to regulate the volume. In addition to that, there is a button that can mute or unmute the microphone. Your voice, even in a whisper, will be clearly transmitted even if other sounds are present in the room, such as breathing, hissing, or even the television that is on in the background. The microphone has a high quality sound transmission. I liked the feature where the microphone directly transmits the sounds of the environment, and the headphones are no longer of a closed type. This means that you can play without hearing anyone else in the room, or you can configure it so that you hear everyone in the room, communicate, and play all at the same time. After placing an order in Germany for 13,300 euros and paying an additional 2,100 for shipping, we arrived in St. Petersburg ten days later. Regarding the remuneration, I am content! I would unquestionably suggest it for gaming! =)

Pros
  • - high-quality, crystal-clear sound in the microphone - sound detail in games with DTS mode (surround sound in the game) - music that is generally enjoyable Arctis Pro features its own sound as well as its unique design, and it comfortably covers and protects human ears.
Cons
  • It took me a week to get used to the strange gaming sound, particularly the surround DTS, and it was frustrating at first. They are comfortable, but I would want a head strap of a different style so that I can adjust the fit to a particular size.
