I have a "Under the Steps" narrow closet with little lighting, and not much room for any fixtures. This did the trick for me. It's very bright, and I was able to use a light bulb outlet splitter to tap off the single light bulb I have in the front of the closet to power this light strip way in the back of the closet.The only issue I had was getting it to stick to the ceiling. I didn't want to tape it to the wall, since I tested it on the wall and it was way too bright and didn't light up the closet properly. I wanted the light to project more downward, and not be too glaring. It was difficult to turn the corners, but I got it to work.In all fairness, it probably wasn't designed to be taped to the ceiling, and as a result it would droop a bit. I simply used some small nails every 8" or so to support the strip, and all is good.As you can see from the picture, it does a great job of lighting up the closet.
