Review on Wi-Fi adapter TP-LINK TL-WN822N, white by Ba Li ᠌

A good product, I advise you to try it.

I solved the problem with the indicator with a photoresistor, a transistor and a couple of simple resistors, now the brightness of the indicator depends on the lighting, and in complete darkness it is really an indicator and not a flashlight. The squeak with an extension cord overcame the LC power filter. Yes, yes, there was unauthorized interference, but the connection was unstable even before the first opening. A discounted product marked "does not work well" could not be returned, so you can safely open it. I connected to a USB splitter with a long cable (closer to the router) with a homemade short cable with twisted pairs. I also connected it directly with a complete shielded cable, but already away from the router. The same - it does not always connect with the launch of Windows, and often you need to twitch the cable to get normal speed. Strange, but when downloading torrents through it, there were no problems if the cable was pulled in advance. As a result, I connected the Mercusys MW300UH with a short cable to the same USB splitter with a long cable - a stable connection with the launch of Windows, stable work in games, no need to twitch the cable. And that TP-Link will probably be put up for sale, especially since the box and the complete set have been preserved.

Pros
  • Sufficiently long and high-quality shielded cable, high speed, compact size, rubber feet, there is an application showing which network has which channel, it is convenient to choose a free channel for the router.
Cons
  • The cable is too stiff and does not allow you to install the light adapter in the right position, the indicator is too bright at night to illuminate the whole room, with an extension cord you can hear a squeak characteristic of a DC / DC converter, it often falls off in games, sometimes the speed is low until a physical reconnection, and when you start Windows 10 always connects automatically.
