Review on Moonlight Slumber Comfort Support Pillow by Joe Pettigrew

comfortable but doesn't bother sleeping on my back

I bought this pillow because I sleep on my back a lot and am trying to avoid it now that I'm 4 months pregnant. Pros: * This pillow is comfortable. Nothing to bother my neck or shoulder.* Good length. I'm only 5ft 1in and that's a good length for me. Tall people may find it a little small if they want to put their ankle on a pillow and not raise their knee too much.* The size is also good. We have a king bed, but it could fit a queen bed Cons: * This pillow doesn't prevent you from sleeping on your back after you fall asleep. I'm fine with side leaning when awake, but after falling asleep, the U Pillow's legs move apart and you could very well end up on your back. I suppose some other pillows use a very tight seam to keep the pillow where it should be, but then that same seam makes the pillow uncomfortable for some people. Comfort is more important to me than the occasional sleep on my back. During my first pregnancy I did not have a pregnancy pillow and was dependent on two separate body pillows on each side. At the same time, I also sometimes found myself on my back. My doctor assured me that everything was fine. After all, women have given birth without these modern pillows for thousands of years, and the babies have been fine! Update July 23rd: I used this until two months ago and everything was fine. However, the summer months have arrived and as a pregnant woman you are feeling hot yourself. So anything that hugged my body and held my own warmth was very uncomfortable. In the end I gave up entirely. Too bad because it came in handy when I could use it. So if you're thinking of getting one (any pregnancy pillow) and you're feeling hot at night, do yourself a favor and save some money.
