These Quick connects are OK, they have a stepped black washer that secures the hose male end on one side and male disconnect on the other. However, the male disconnect is also secured by an O-ring that sits in the belly of the female disconnect, so the leaks are prevented with double security. The metal that these are made out of is aluminum and we know 2 metals of a different kinds don't react too well. Time will tell. I would highly recommend to apply silicon grease on the male end and on its path connecting inside female adapter. Also, lubricate the O-ring and the stepped washer.I also have a different set that I bought a few years ago from Walmart, these look similar, however those do not have a stepped washer but instead use the regular flat hose washer. With regular yearly maintenance during spring, those have lasted more than 5 years with some oxidation and corrosion but absolutely no leaks. I am assuming these should last as well but these days most items are made cheap so expecting a long life on these products would be questionable.
