I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.

I decided on this camera, and I can attest to its suitability for use with Skype and other video chat applications. The drivers will be installed automatically (Windows 7) and will be fully functional. I didn't need my glasses for Skype; my loved ones could see every detail. In the NTSC settings, the only "flags" I activated were focusing and face tracking. In the middle of a conversation, he scribbles "720p precisely, 1080p."
However, only 15 frames per second were recorded instead of the claimed 30.

In a nutshell, it's very neat. if we compare it to the 1.3 megapixel camera on the laptop.

Pros

Autofocus. There's a built-in microphone so sensitive that it can pick up a whisper. =) Solid support for your camera.

Cons

Compact USB cable. You'll need a large amount of disk space (the route to the disk space shouldn't contain Cyrillic letters, but this might not be a drawback) to record at the highest possible quality. The advertised 30 fps when recording in 1080p is missing in action.
