For the price and style they seem to be decent boots.I definitely would not call them Military boots because they are not that durable and if they can't hold up so well in the rain I would hate to find out what the snow would be like with these.The reviews that I did read were all mixed about sizing.Well I went up a size and they turned out to be too big and extremely wide.That being said I can still get away with wearing them with super thick carhartt socks.The arch support doesn't seem all that great to me either.I found putting a pair of insoles in these made a huge difference and brought way more comfort and security from my feet sliding around.As far as the side pocket goes I don't plan on using it because I certainly don't feel to confident placing my credit or debit card in there. However I would put my spare car or house key in the pocket.I haven't had them to long but I do like the style and the price was reasonable. I took the chance and still glad I did because I have been getting some use out of them. I would consider ordering another pair but in my normal size.I can only imagine how the sizing can be very fustrating for those considering buying these.I spent way to much wasted time reading about how they are either too big or to small or even to wide.Of course all our feet are different sizing but if a family member or a friend asked me what size to get I would suggest to them stick with their normal size,however I'm not confident enough to suggest any particular size to complete strangers only because everyone's feet are different.Now don't get me wrong I do appreciate everyone who took time to write a review because I did learn more about the boot than just sizing.I would say these boots are more geared toward style than anything and they are nice looking.The seller was great shipping to delivery were supper fast,just a few days! Packaging was perfect!I would definitely recommend the seller.
