Review on SteelSeries Arctis Prime Gaming Headset - High Fidelity Audio Drivers - Multiplatform Compatible by Chang Jeon ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with everything, the product corresponds to the description.

Overall great headphones, look nice and feel expensive, but: Before that, there were Steelseries 5hv2, and immediately after the change, it seemed! That some of the sounds in the usual games were missing or somehow muffled. There is an obsessive feeling that something is wrong, but one way or another - the games sound different. At the same time, the positioning and accent of the sounds remained the same as in 5hv2 - everything is magically audible. Perhaps the reason for this is some isolation from closed headphones. Outside the headphones, all sounds are heard as from ordinary speakers, i. E. nice, which is weird. The headphones are a little heavy for me and comfort depends on how you put them on: if it’s even, you can sit at least a whole day and not notice it, if it’s crooked, then after an hour they will start to put a lot of pressure. The microphone mute button and volume knob are located exactly where you take when you put on / take off the headphones. Despite the declared good characteristics, the microphone hisses from the letter C and in other similar cases. Perhaps it's just that these headphones require an external audio card (fixed by a banana). There are no settings in the proprietary application, the equalizer is not available for them, but I would very much like to. Alas(
