I have a number of cutters and this is among the best. The blue color is very deep navy blue which is what I wanted. Xikar says it will cut a 54 ring gauge in half. I tried that with a Churchill, I wanted to cut the burning end off to save the rest for later. I had to go get a larger cutter. I think it work if the cross section was perfectly circular, but these are hand rolled and are just a wee bit elliptical in cross section. But it's a great cutter anyway. I registered it on the Xikar web site to protect the lifetime warranty. Xikar sent me a nice sheath to keep it in. Nice bonus!
