Personally, I've tried different toothpicks for cleaning between teeth: different toothpicks, wooden ones (available in pharmacies), hard plastic tips and the list goes on and on. However, they were hard on my gums or the type of wood didn't hold up well. Then I discovered these Butler GUM gum stimulators and they are so gentle on my gums and teeth. My teeth are close together and I find it difficult to floss normally. So now I use this gum stimulator along with WaterPik Ultra Water Flosser and my gum health has improved a lot. My gums are now a healthy pink color and my pockets have shrunk a lot as a result! Highly recommend, especially if you have sensitive gums!
