I was planning to purchase a Yamaha hs5, but they convinced me to upgrade due of the bass; nonetheless, the price difference was very noticeable to me. I made the decision to test these after reading a few reviews here and there. Although I have mixed emotions about the purchase, overall I am happy with it given the price I spent. Got advantages: The audio is excellent to my modest ears (first own monitors). Bass is more than sufficient for a workspace at home. The panorama has remarkable detail. Cons of it: Although the "idle" noise from twitters that has been mentioned in numerous reviews and opinions is present and audible at low volume if you work at night, it is very difficult to distinguish it in domestic settings during the day, its mere existence will no longer bring you peace and a sense of complete satisfaction. The DAC, the power supply system (grounding), the volume level on the monitor itself, or any of these factors in any way influence this noise. Of course, the appearance is (subjectively) a C, but for me, this is unimportant.
