The product is no good, I won't buy it again.

The item was acquired specifically for use as a wireless access point for an Android phone. I've been dealing with it for about a week, and despite my best efforts, I still haven't been successful in getting it to work in soft ap mode. drivers and programs sourced from Asus and Ralink have been installed. The first and the second person both missed seeing the device. In spite of the fact that the system detected it, it was unable to activate it. Asus'a managed to get the program to "rise" after first removing it and the driver, and then reinstalling it with administrative privileges and in win xp compatibility mode. Released with the same rights as the original. But nothing moved in the right direction. Until this point in my misery, I have been able to set up an access point, however it keeps restarting itself, which causes the ssid to be changed. After the initial restart, other wifi devices will no longer be able to see the access point, and they will not be able to connect to it either. The utility that came from Ralink was unable to recognize the device. I will be coming back the following day.

Pros
  • I was in agony for a whole week since I couldn't find a single one.
Cons
  • The software and drivers are both of a poor quality.
