Excellent truly blackout curtains. Had them for over two weeks now. They do block some sound and heat, but that depends a bit on the environment. More background noise is blocked, but not a lawn mower or moped. Color is very nice (sky blue) and the curtains are heavy and feel well made. Fabric is nice and smooth; so far no problems with dust attaching to them, etc. but we have no pets. The only drawback are the creases/wrinkles in the curtains that they come with due to packaging (really no way around this). The wrinkles diminished a bit over two weeks, but are still visible. After reading reviews, I did not try to wash or iron them (risk?). Probably I can live with the few wrinkles (and they are not that visible, since the curtains fold really nicely on their own into nice waves - these are the grommet curtains). Overall, good value for money (yes, they are more expensive than many advertised alternatives, but after looking at the pics and reviews, it was clear that these are true blackout, thick and heavy material, and well made). Happy to recommend.
