Review on Apple IPhone 8 by Micha Spodymek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

3D touch. Many say that a b toy that you forget about every other day. And I would agree with them if it were not for the function of moving the cursor when typing, which is simply insanely convenient due to its accuracy and speed. Stereo speakers after 6s are just heaven and earth - very loud, and the quality is much better. This is especially true when using the speakerphone. Also a very nice feature is the tactile feedback. It makes you want to pick up the phone again and again. The gl case is very pleasant and does not slip at all. Yes, it looks great in all colors. The transition from the old to the new device is very convenient. Literally in 40 minutes you get all your gallery, programs and data from the old device on the new one. And 256GB of memory allows you to always carry with you memories (photos and videos), which are already a couple of years old. Home on! Although they write that the second generation is the same as in 6s, but in fact it is much faster, and it works in 99%. Apple Pay is great with her - it's much faster to get your phone and put your finger on it than to look for a card. When buying this device, you understand that you bought 6k at maximum speed. In which everything that could be implemented in this form factor of the phone is implemented. A format that is still very convenient to use with one hand, which is important for many. Regarding the lack of a jack and using the phone in the car as a navigator - there is an exit - a holder-wireless charging + aux. This is much more convenient and faster than looking for and plugging in a cable. I would also advise him to immediately buy the original silicone case. In combination with the Taptic Engine, a tactile is guaranteed. And let apple underestimate the performance of older devices, and this fate will someday befall my eight. But you will not get so much pleasure from using a smartphone anywhere else. Later, most likely, I will supplement the review with examples of photos.

Pros
  • I switched to the eight from 6s, which in the last six months has become mercilessly stupid, and the battery has degraded to 1300mAh out of 1690 declared. I kept the 6s battery accordingly - it lasted until the middle of the day. This is enough for me until the end of the day in any scenario and with active use. (By active use, I mean an ordinary student's day: permanently enabled geolocation, LTE, constant use of instant messengers + searching for a bunch of information on studies). And the point here, it seems to me, is not only in the new battery, but also in the energy efficiency of the A11. By itself, the eight is reactive. Everything is smooth, starts instantly. Apparently I did not find any problems with the first versions of the 11th axis. The camera in the dark here shoots an order of magnitude better than in 6s. Finally brought in optical stabilization for the small version. In the past, the device was very fond of the 1080p60fps video recording mode for the smoothness of the picture. They immediately delivered 4k60fps, and even with optical stabilization! It's just a delight! I also want to note a very fast autofocus. Even sgs7 is slower. The front camera was slightly improved, but the wide angle was never delivered. The new . heic format is of course a huge plus for devices with 64GB of memory. And in general, something really innovative in recent years in the field of software. But we have to wait for support in the players on windows. Water resistance is a trifle, but nice. More in the comments.
Cons
  • The disadvantages will be quite ambiguous and it is difficult to call them critical and generally unambiguously consider them disadvantages. Wide side bezels. But this is a double-edged sword. In this case, with such frames, the phone tolerates falls on the side edges quite well. Unlike curved Samsung screens. Lack of a dual camera module - there is no dual optical zoom. All the same, the lack of a 3.5 jack. But it's not critical - the battery takes it out quite well.
