Review on Motorola Talkabout T42 radio, 2 pcs. by Petar Velinov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

Primitive radio. I got it with a kid in mind, but also for use on forest hikes at a dacha. About a kilometer out from the rural home (taking into account the elevation change and dense woodland), I conducted my check. When there is little or no background noise, conversations flow smoothly. Take batteries; that's all we can recommend. Three AAA batteries, either disposable or rechargeable, are required for operation.

Pros
  • Good sturdy build. No possible escape routes exist. Actionable scope. A frequency scanner allows one to quickly and easily change to live channels. No complicated options here. a single available channel for use. 2 RF detectors in operation. If I'm reading the instructions correctly, the third scanner is for weak signals. 4 A button lock is included as well. When turned on, just the volume slider is functional, and access to the menu is disabled; this is especially helpful for younger users.
Cons
  • They do not exist. If only the void of directions in 2022 could be remedied. Which is completely beside the point.
